The Price of Victory made millions of lives, human destinies ethternally broken, unspeakable pain and grief. The events of those days can not go out from the national memory. Memorial plaques, monuments, memorials will remind of this but the most important memorial is the human memory.
A terrible war took the lives of every fifth Ukrainian. Long four years Ukraine was occupied by the Nazis. It was occupied, but it was not broken. It was seizured, but not placed on the knees. From the first days of the war Ukrainian soldiers side by side with their fighting brothers of other nationalities, partisans and underground fighters had been heroically fighting the hated enemy reast-language:RU;mso-bidi-language:AR-SA’> is the human memory.
Eternal glory to the winners! On this May Day we remember all those whose lives were taken by the war, make a deep honor to the veterans who bore the brunt of the burden of war and raised the country from ruins during the postwar years. We worship before soldier widows, all the soldiers that measured their ways through the war in order to let us dream and love today. Let peace and harmony always live in our minds and hearts, let this bright holiday and sincere wishes give all of us more strength and inspiration for future labor aspirations and achievements.
We cordially congratulate you on the anniversary of the Great Victory!
Respectfully yours,
