SHC “MEDYK” STARTED ITS WORK
The students’ health camp is situated in the picturesque corner of Koncha-Zaspa in the territory of pine forest with the large meadow and calm sandy beach of the Dnipro affluent river Kozynka and it has become the real legend among different generations of medical students for more than 50 years of its existence.
On 1, July, 2015, the representatives from University administration at the head with the rector K. Amosova visited the camp, which started its first season this year. The head of University emphasized that SHC “Medyk” is first of all a social object, which was established and has been working for the needs of students and employees. “The administration makes no business on this camp!” – mentioned the rector.
The dining room, medical station, food warehouse had the overhaul this year; the central entry was improved; the work of standby energy supply source – diesel generator – was renewed; the electric grid of the camp was renewed; the students’ houses, which are provided with necessary furniture, were partially repaired.
The camp accepts over 400 persons per shift. The nutrition two or three times is offered, for entertainment – discos and evening cinema; for active entertainment – sports yards, tennis court, football field, playground for basketball, tables for table tennis.
Attention to owners of cars:
The fire and salvage unit prohibits to leave the cars in the territory of the camp due to fire dangerous period. There is the place outside the camp for cars of those ones, who have rest.

The cost of accommodation, municipal services (in the amount of 54 UAH/day) is paid by the university only to students, postgraduate students and clinical residents of NMU.
The cost of boarding (per one day of rest): UAH 83.50 – two times; UAH 113 – 3 times.
Schedule for issue of vouchers at students’ trade union (morphological building, 4th floor):
– Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday – since 14:00 until 18:00
– Friday – since 14:00 until 16:00
