PRESENTATION OF PROGRAM “YOUTH WILL CHANGE UKRAINE”: MEETING OF STUDENTS WITH BOHDAN GAVRYLYSHYN

The meeting of students with famous thinker and public leader Bohdan Gavrylyshyn took place on 26, February, 2016 in morphological building of O.O. Bohomolets National medical university.

Bohdan Gavrylyshyn – founder of International economical forum in Davos, president of Bohdan Gavrylyshyn Fund, member in Rome club, member in World academy of arts and science, member in International academy of management, Doctor of Economics and Sociology at Geneva University, Honorary Doctor in 7 universities of Ukraine and Canada, consultant of states and international companies in 88 world countries.

The representatives from students’ self-government of University and Ukrainian medical students’ association were present at the meeting. Bohdan Gavrylyshyn presented the program “Youth will change Ukraine”. This program will allow the youth receiving the educational grants in order to study the experience of European countries, which achieved the highest level of development. Among such countries: Austria, Germany, Norway, Switzerland, Sweden and Poland. After return from abroad the groups prepare the recommendations for Ukraine and implement the received knowledge in own projects. All expenses on trips for youth are repaid by Bohdan Gavrylyshyn Fund.

The guest also shared with his vision for the ways to build up the efficient society with students, told about experience of developed countries in achievement of high level for welfare. “First of all the state shall have four characteristics: political freedom, a certain level of economical welfare for the whole population, social justice, especially in spheres of education, health care, unemployment, pension provision, and the fourth characteristic shall be the symbiosis with biosphere”, – mentioned Bohdan Gavrylyshyn.
At the end of the meeting Bohdan Gavrylyshyn presented his books to the students. Ukrainian medical students association expresses the sincere gratitude to the university administration for assistance and help in organization of the meeting.
