SCIENTIFIC PRACTICAL CONFERENCE, DEVOTED TO THE MEMORY OF PROFESSOR DOLNYTSKYY O.V.

The scientific practical conference “Urgent issues of orthopedics and traumatology at children”, devoted to the memory of professor Dolnytskyy, took place on 29, April, 2016 on the base of department of orthopedics and traumatology at NSSH “Okhmatdyt” that is the clinical base for department of children’s surgery at O.O. Bohomolets National medical university.

The program of event included the clinical examination of patients at department of orthopedics and traumatology and reconstructive and corrective surgery with detailed discussion of the most interesting cases. The coordinators of the conference were the leading specialists in the sphere of children’s orthopedics and traumatology at the head of department, Doctor of Medicine, professor Anatoliy Feodosiyovych Levytskyy.

During the conference they presented the reports about urgent issues on operative treatment of early detected scoliosis, Sprengel disease, pectus excavatum, as well as modern aspects for application of Sheno jackets for treatment of scoliotic spinal deformity at children. The scientific discussion among participants in the conference took place after report.
