THE LAW ABOUT MEDICAL REFORM ENTERED INTO FORCE

The Law of Ukraine “About state financial guarantees for medical service of population” No 2168-VIII, dd. 19.10.2017 entered into force on 30, January, 2018. The notification in the website of Ministry of Health of Ukraine tells about it.

“Now there are the grounds to take some decisions in order timely to implement the plan for reformation of primary health care chain, declared before. In particular, the process for transformation of medical establishments into municipal non-commercial enterprises was started. In such status they will be able to conclude the contracts with National Service of Health of Ukraine and to receive the direct financing for rendered services from State Budget”, – informs Ministry of Health.

Ukrainians will also elect the doctor of primary aid (family doctor, therapeutist, and pediatrician) and sign the Declarations with them since April, 2018. Until present moment signing the Declaration about choice of doctor will be held in pilot mode. Besides, it is anticipated to implement the “state warranted package” – a certain volume of medical services and medicinal means, which the state undertakes to pay due to previously established single tariff, which will be approved by Cabinet of Ministers every year.
