YOUNG SCIENTISTS OF NMU BECAME THE PARTICIPANTS IN TRAINING «RESEARCHER CONNECT» FROM BRITISH COUNCIL

The employees of NMU took part in the new project “Researcher Connect”, which was launched by British Council in Ukraine for support professional development of young scientists.

“Researcher Connect” is the first project in Ukraine, which offers the series of modules, directed to develop the communicative skills of young scientists, necessary for successful international communication and cooperation. It provides the participants with deep understanding and instruments for efficient communication regardless of situation or context, helps to develop the critical thinking, reaction and skills of scientific criticism.

The participants in “Researcher Connect” from O.O. Bohomolets NMU were Candidate of Philology, head at department of international relations Ganna Malunova and assistant at department of pharmacological, biological and toxicological chemistry Kateryna Murlanova.

The seminar “Researcher Connect” was built in the form of 3 modules with participation of experienced and certified trainers from United Kingdom. The speaker at trainings was the director in consulting agency of higher education, leading world trainer Dr. Adair Richards. The seminar was held with the accent on international scientific research cooperation.

1st day – To know your audience (to provide with efficient purposeful communication); Theses (main structural elements of theses for different audiences and needs)

2nd day – Persuasive proposals (to write clear, vivid and successful proposals)

3rd day – Academic cooperation (to think and to work globally)
