21, NOVEMBER – DAY OF DIGNITY AND FREEDOM

The decree by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko announced 21, November as the Day of Dignity and Freedom in order to consolidate the ideals of freedom in Ukraine, preservation and bringing the objective information about fateful events in Ukraine at the beginning of XXI century to the modern and future generations, as well as to honor the patriotism and bravery of citizens, who in autumn of 2004 and in November, 2013 – February, 2014 defended the democratic values, rights and freedoms of human and citizen, national interests of our state and its European choice.
The following events will be held on 21, November, 2014:
– the meeting-requiem with participation of students, pupils of Ukrainian medical lyceum and teachers and professors from Bogomolets NMU will be held near Memorial to perished teachers and students during the Great Patriotic War at 10 o’clock;
– laying the flowers to the memorial stele in honor of Heroes of Nebesna Sotnia (lime lane of Bogomolets NMU);
– performance of thematic lectures “Dignity and freedom” at faculties.
