MEETING OF EXPERT GROUP FROM PROJECT OF NATIONAL STRATEGY ON STRUGGLE AGAINST ALCOHOL

The regular meeting for interdepartmental work expert group was held on 22, December, 2015 at department of health care organization and social medicine of O.O. Bohomolets National medical university. The topic of the meeting is the project of National strategy as to reduction in consumption of alcohol.

The composition of expert group included the representatives from WHO Bureau in Ukraine, MHC of Ukraine, Ministry of agrarian policy and provision of Ukraine, NAMS of Ukraine, O.O. Bohomolets National medical university, public organization “For sober Ukraine”, SE “Ukrainian monitoring and medical center on drugs and alcohol at MHC of Ukraine”, SE “Ukrainian institute of strategic researches at MHC of Ukraine”, Kyiv city center of health.

The participants introduced the corresponding corrections into project of National strategy and defined further steps in struggle against consumption of alcohol.

The National strategy as to reduction in harmful consumption of alcohol is considered as the component for National plan in struggle against infectious diseases and is agreed with European action plan for reduction in consumption of alcohol for 2012-2020.
