ALL-UKRAINIAN MEETING OF STUDENT SCIENTIFIC ORGANIZATIONS OF HIGHER MEDICAL (PHARMACEUTICAL) EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS OF UKRAINE

On November 28-29, 2015, Vinnytsya hosted the 8th All-Ukrainian Meeting of the representatives of student scientific organizations of Higher Medical (Pharmaceutical) Educational establishments of Ukraine attended by 11 higher medical educational establishments of Ukraine.

Heads of Boards of Student Scientific Organizations, Deputies, Secretaries of Boards, such as representatives of Ukrainian Medical Dental Academy, Vinnytsia National M.I. Pyrohova Medical University, Uzhhorod National University, representatives of UMSA, Zaporizhzhia State Medical University, Ternopil State I.Ya. Horbachevskyi Medical University, Luhansk National Danylo Halytskyi Medical University, Donetsk National M.Horkoho University, Kharkiv Postgraduate Education Medical Academy, Bukovyna State Medical University.

During the first day of the meeting a plenary meeting took place. It consisted of two parts. The first part consisted of reports of heads and deputies of boards concerning the organizations activities, results of UMSA (IFMSA), the participants discussed the most important issues of cooperation of student scientific organizations and higher educational establishments of Ukraine. The delegates shared their experience concerning organization of their job in scientific organizations, exchanged useful advice, as well as evaluate the student scientific organizations. The second part consisted of discussions concerning formation of the International Congress of Medical Students and young scientists of Ukraine, cooperation with UMSA.

Next day the meeting participants had an excursion to M.I.Pyrohov Museum, then they had a workshops on basic survival course, practical aspects of intestinal suture and basic laparoscopic skills. Having discussed the most important issues, the participants defined and agreed the main provisions of the resolution signed by heads of Boards of Student Scientific Organizations of Higher medical (Pharmaceutical) Educational establishments of Ukraine.
