DEPARTMENT OF MORBID ANATOMY (MECHNIKOVA STR. 5) IS OPENED AGAIN AFTER REPAIR

Opening of renovated Department of Morbid Anatomy, which is one of the oldest buildings of Bogomolets NMU (Mechnikova Str., 5) was held on September 3rd, 2015. Here works the Departments of Pathological Anatomy, Operative Surgery and Topographic Anatomy of our university and staff of the Department of Morbid Anatomy of Oleksandrivska Clinical Hospital of Kyiv.
Prosection, ritual hall and classrooms, where students will start their training again one of these days, have been repaired.
Prorector for scientific and pedagogical, medical work and postgraduate education, Professor O.M. Naumenko welcoming the audience said that according to Rector of the NMU, K.M. Amosova’s strategic plan concerning the reconstruction of the University, all obligations to improve the working conditions of teachers and students are consistently performed. He voiced confidence that upgraded facilities will be the one base where students, interns, clinical residents of the NMU will be able to develop science and modern methods of diagnosis.
The Deputy Chief of Surgical Work of Oleksandrivska Clinical Hospital of Kyiv, I.H. Kryvorchuk thanked Bohomolets NMU for cooperation on behalf of the hospital. In fact, doctors of the Department of Morbid Anatomy works in updated department next to colleagues from the departments of the University and he said that working conditions of middle and junior medical staff of this department of clinic was significantly improved.
