OPENING THE SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF EXPERIMENTAL AND CLINICAL MEDICINE

The solemn opening the Scientific research institute of experimental and clinical medicine took place on 29, May at physical chemical building of National Medical University.

According to decision by Scientific council and Labor collective of university SRI was established through reorganization of Institute on problems of pathology and Institute of immunology and allergology.

“The main task of any doctor-specialist is the diagnostics. A doctor shall be able rationally use the research methods that are the most efficient in each individual case. We will teach our students with it”, – told director of SRI Larysa Natrus.

SRI will become the experimental, laboratory and research base for students and teachers of university. At the institute there are some laboratories that allow performing the complex researches. The most modern laboratory of molecular genetic researches is now being purchased.

“Opening SRI is a momentous event for our university because it will extend our possibilities in scientific activity. We are planning to increase the number of own scientific developments, to accumulate the number of scientific publications and to improve the positions in scientometrical ratings. Our goal is to become a real European university, where the science is developed from student to scientist”, – emphasized rector of O.O. Bohomolets NMU Kateryna Amosova.
