OPENING THE HOSTEL AFTER CAPITAL REPAIR

The reconstructed hostel No 3 of O.O. Bohomolets National medical university was solemnly opened on 29, January, 2015. The deputy minister of health care of Ukraine Moroz Ye.D., deputy head in Kyiv city state administration Radutskyy M.B., rector in O.O. Bohomolets NMU Amosova K.M., general director in PJSC “KyivBudKom” Bilopup O.F., as well as representatives of university community took part in the ceremony.

The welcome speech was made by the rector, who thanked all present people that came to share this gladness. Kateryna Amosova in her address to the present people informed that the capital repair of 5 storey hostel was started on 20, September, 2014 in connection with decision by commission about emergency condition. In general the estimated cost of reconstruction was approximately UAH 12 millions and it was carried out at the expense of University special fund. The renewed hostel is designed for 540 places with two or three persons per each room. They completely replaced the windows, doors and furniture there for modern ones; each room has the access to the internet. The floors are equipped with kitchens, shower rooms, toilets and laundries.

In his turn the deputy minister of health care of Ukraine Yevgen Moroz mentioned that the modern living conditions for valuable study are now very important for the future doctors, who will become the main acting persons of medical reforms that are today implemented in the country.

The rector expressed the separate gratitude to the general director in company-contractor “KyivBudKom” Oleksander Bilopup and prorector on scientific pedagogical activity and perspective development Oleksander Nykytiuk for quality and works, performed during the shortest period of time.

After symbolic cutting the ribbon the guests and people, present in the event, had the excursion along the renewed hostel.

Let’s remind that over UAH 22 millions were spent for last half year to repairs of hostels and academic buildings of University. And the further development of material technical base of University is in the plans for the future.
