OPEN LECTURE ABOUT INFECTIOUS DISEASES AT CHILDREN
The lecture by dean at medical faculty No 3, professor at department of children’s infectious diseases Oksana Vygovska on topic “Flu and ARVI at children under modern conditions. Manifestations of epidemics for flu A H1N1California pdm in season of 2009 and season of 2016 among children in Ukraine. Comparative characteristics” took place on 13, April, 2016 in lecture hall No 3 in sanitary hygienic building of O.O. Bohomolets National medical university.
The event was initiated by Students’ scientific center at medical faculty No 2.
The lecturer told about manifestations, complications of flu and ARVI at children, peculiarities for clinical presentation, as well as performed the analysis of statistical indices for flu A H1N1California pdm in seasons of 2009 and 2016. The students also considered the clinical case, which confirms the complexity and severity of such epidemics. At the end of the lecture professor Oksana Vygovska answered the questions about tactics for treatment of these infectious diseases.
