The Government of Ukraine has adopted a resolution that will allow students to take the USQE abroad during martial law period

The government adopted a resolution “On Amendments to the Procedure for Conducting the Unified State Qualification Exam (USQE) for the students enrolled in the Master’s academic program and majoring in “22 Healthcare” branch of knowledge”. In accordance with the resolution, students will be able to take the USQE at their place of stay or residence, which will ensure the realization of everyone’s right to obtain higher education.

Some of the Ukrainian and almost all foreign applicants are trained outside Ukraine. Graduation is possible on condition of successful completion of the legally established basic attestation – the Unified State Qualification Exam, which consists of:

– the Integrated Test-Based Exam “Krok” (STEP);

– the Objective Structured Practical (Clinical) Exam (OSCE/OSPE);

– the English Language Proficiency Test.

As reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, from now on, if a student is abroad, he will have the opportunity to take exams at certification testing centers. This centers are designated by the State Non-Commercial Enterprise “Testing Board for Professional Competence Assessment of Higher Education Trainees in Medicine and Pharmacy at the Ministry of Public Health of Ukraine”, and if one returns to Ukraine – in domestic institutions of higher education.
