THE UNIVERSITY OPENS THE DOORS FOR FUTURE UNIVERSITY ENTRANTS
The University Open Doors Day, for the third time since the beginning of the new year, took place on 25, March, 2016 at O.O. Bohomolets National medical university.
V.O. Karavayev lecture hall No 2 in morphological building held some hundreds of school children from the 11th and 1-th forms from all Ukraine, who now choose the educational establishment to acquire the higher education and future occupation. Most of present people visited our University for the first time but it is registered for EIA namely on those special subjects, which are necessary to enter the medical university.
The pro-rector on scientific pedagogical, treatment activity and postgraduate education at O.O. Bohomolets NMU, professor Oleksander Naumenko made the speech to the present people. Oleksander Mykolayovych briefly told about history of University since its establishment until now; presented the clinical bases, work of students’ scientific societies and wide opportunities, which the future entrants will have. He also paid attention to the information about professors and teachers, they are undoubtedly the best ones in the country as the fifth part of professors – members in academy of medical sciences and this fact testifies to the high teaching level.
The conditions for admission in 2016 were separately emphasized. The executive secretary in Admission commission of University assistant professor Yuriy Maruschenko made the report about rules for admission to study for acquisition of educational qualification level.
The deans of medical faculty No 2, assistant professor Natalia Litvinova, medical faculty No 4, professor Ihor Pelyo, medical psychological faculty, assistant professor Iryna Loginova and pharmaceutical faculty, assistant professor Tetiana Reva were also present at the meeting.
The pupils, as well as their parents could get acquainted with faculties at O.O. Bohomolets NMU and speak with their deans, teachers and students.
The employees of academic divisions handed over the printed materials with detailed information about directions of training, scientific specialization of departments, possibilities for further employments. The pupils also completed the entrant’s form of O.O. Bohomolets NMU.
The future entrants themselves dream of entering O.O. Bohomolets National medical university as they think that it is the flagman of medical education in Ukraine.
