STUDENT OF NMU – FINALIST IN INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM «YOUNG GENERATION WILL CHANGE UKRAINE»
The student of the 6th course in medical faculty No 2 of NMU Garik Melkumian successfully passed through competitive selection and became the finalist in program “Young generation will change Ukraine”. The program “Young generation will change Ukraine” by Bohdan Gavrylyshyn Fund, is designed to train the professional youth that will change Ukraine through implementation of derived experience from the most efficient European countries.
The competitive selection is held in three stages, the last one is the interlocution with the president of the Fund, famous economist Bohdan Gavrylyshyn.
Young active persons, aged 20-35 years, who are active in public activity, fluently speak English and have the high achievements in their specialty, can take part in the Program.
Garik Melkumian together with the young specialists in the sphere of law, economics and youth policy studied the expirience of Germany during one week. Garik is responsible for study of health care system, insurance medicine and system of medical education in Germany. The meetings with representatives from ministry of health care of Germany, German medical association, medical school at Sharite clinic, DAAD, Embassy of Ukraine in Germany, Transparency international and German association of medical students were successfully performed in c. Berlin.
During meetings they achieved the agreements about performance of academic probations for medical students and teachers of higher medical schools in Germany, Ukrainian German medical forums and performance of joint projects on struggle against corruption.
The program enables to learn the expirience of public order in highly developed European countries, where there is the absolute political freedom, high level of economical welfare, social justice and ecological consciousness of citizens.
