ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC PRACTICAL SESSION “IMPLEMENTATION OF SCIENTIFIC DEVELOPMENTS INTO PRACTICE OF HEALTH CARE”

The annual scientific practical session “Implementation of scientific developments into practice of health care” was held on 18-19, December, 2015 on the base of National military medical clinical center “Chief military clinical hospital” at Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The department of traumatology and orthopedics at O.O. Bohomolets National medical university at the head with professor Oleksander Anatoliyovych Burianov every year organizes and performs the scientific practical sessions, congresses and conferences of city, regional, all-Ukrainian importance, as well as the international scientific practical conferences.

This year the event was organized together with State Establishment “Institute of traumatology and orthopedics at NAMS of Ukraine”, Association of orthopedists-traumatologists in city Kyiv and Kyiv region, Military medical academy at Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The following persons made the welcome speeches: deputy chairman in Committee of Verkhovna Rada on health care issues Sysoyenko Iryna Volodymyrivna; head at department on issues of health care and social policy at APU, major general of medical service, professor Lurin Ihor Anatoliyovych; Director of SE “Institute of traumatology and orthopedics at NAMS of Ukraine”, academician in NAMS of Ukraine, professor Gayko Georgiy Vasylyovych; head at National military medical clinical center “Chief military clinical hospital” at MD of Ukraine, major general of medical service Kazmirchuk Anatoliy Petrovych; head at Ukrainian military medical academy at MD of Ukraine, professor Savytskyy Valeriy Leonidovych; chief orthopedist-traumatologist at MHC of Ukraine, deputy director on scientific work at SE “Institute of traumatology and orthopedics at NAMS of Ukraine”, professor Strafun Serhii Semenovych.

The head at department of traumatology and orthopedics at O.O. Bohomolets National medical university, Doctor of Medicine, professor Burianov Oleksander Anatoliyovych made the introductory speech to the present people. Having defined the main problems of nowadays, Oleksander Burianov acknowledged the necessity in succession in rendering the aid to the injured with battle trauma until restorative course of treatment and rehabilitation.

During two session days the military traumatologists and orthopedists together with the colleagues shared with experience and the newest medical developments.

The scientific practical session was held in the format of plenary meetings. Over 250 persons from the regions of our state and abroad took part in the conference. Over 30 oral reports and lectures were heard, more than 30 poster reports were demonstrated, and master classes were held.

Topics of session:
–    reparative plastic surgery at intra-articular damages, traumas of pelvis and spine.
–    reparative plastic surgery at degenerative-dystrophic and inflammatory injuries of locomotor and support apparatus.
–    low invasive technologies of treatment in traumatology and orthopedics. Physiotherapy and pharmacotherapy in arthrology.
–    modern aspects in treatment of battle trauma. Training of specialists due to specialty “Traumatology and orthopedics”.

The materials of the conference were published in the occupational scientific practical journal “Chronicle of traumatology and orthopedics” No 1-2, issue of 2016.
