INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION OF SCIENTISTS IN THE SPHERE OF PUBLIC HEALTH

The international scientific conference, devoted to issues about public health, was held in c. Trnava (Slovakia) on 5-6, February, 2015. The co-organizers of international forum were Saint Cyril and Methodius University (Slovakia), Yan Grodek State academy in s. Sanok (Poland), International creative campus in c. Prague (Czech Republic) Danylo Galytskyy Lviv NMU (Ukraine).

The topics of the conference anticipated the discussion of a wide range of issues about health care, management, consulting, rendering the medical and social services to population, sanatorium-resort treatment, etc.

The scientists from four countries of Europe took part in the work of forum. The welcome speech to participants in the conference was made by rector in Saint Cyril and Methodius University, professor Josef Matush. On behalf of Polish delegation the scientific community was welcomed by rector in Yan Grodek State academy, professor Elzhbieta Sipora, on behalf of Ukrainian delegation – head at department of health care organization and social medicine at O.O. Bohomolets National medical university, professor Tetiana Gruzeva, on behalf of Czech delegation – professor at Institute of medical and social aid Oldrish Knayfl.

During the plenary and two section meetings they heard over 40 reports, which caused to significant interest at participants.

The employees at O.O. Bohomolets National medical university made 2 reports on urgent problems in public health. Professor Gruzeva T.S. made the report “Prevention of non-infectious diseases as a top-priority problem of public health in Ukraine”, assistant professor Puzanova O.G. – report “Evidence base of preventive events in health care: development of concept”. After completion of presentations they had the interesting discussion, exchange of opinions, and expirience in solution of urgent scientific problems.

Within the conference they had the meetings with administration of faculty of social sciences and department of social aid consulting at Saint Cyril and Methodius University, acquaintance with organization of academic process and conditions for study and living conditions for students.

The participants in the conference agreed about further development of cooperation in scientific and educational spheres.
