II STAGE IN ALL-UKRAINIAN STUDENTS’ OLYMPIAD IN CLINICAL IMMUNOLOGY AND ALLERGOLOGY

II stage in all-Ukrainian students’ Olympiad in discipline “clinical immunology and allergology” was held on 16-17, April, 2015 at O.O. Bohomolets National medical university at department of clinical immunology and allergology with section of medical genetics, which is supportive one in Ukraine.

The composition of jury included professors from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv and Chernivtsi. The head was professor at department of clinical, laboratory immunology and allergology at P.L. Shupyka NMAPE V.I. Litus.

The best students from different regions of Ukraine, who represented Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Chernivtsi, Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia, Sumy, Ivano-Frankivsk, Poltava, Ternopil and Zaporizhe.

The following persons made the welcome speeches to participants at the solemn opening ceremony: chairman in organizational committee on performance of II stage in Olympiad at NMU, corresponding member in NAMS of Ukraine, professor Yu.B. Chaykovskyy and dean of medical faculty No 4, assistant professor I.M. Pelyo.

The winner of competition was the student from Danylo Galytskyy Lviv NMU Kyrylo Zhukov, who was recently transferred to study from Lugansk state medical university.

O.O. Bohomolets National medical university took the honorary II place (Yuliia Bedlinska – student of the 6^th course in medical faculty No 3). The student from Kharkiv NMU Mekhri Melikova also took II place. Nataliia Ludchak from Bukovyna state medical university took III place.

The students’ team from Dnipropetrovsk medical academy at MHC of Ukraine took I team place, students of our university – II place, the team from Lviv – III place.

The students and teachers listened to the lecture by the first head at department, author of the first national textbook in clinical immunology, professor G.M. Drannik, devoted to 170^th anniversary since birthday of I.I. Mechnikov.

In the whole the Olympiad was held in warm and friendly atmosphere and at the end of the event the participants visited the exhibition of Kyiv theater “Suzirya” under assistance of NMU’s trade union within the cultural program.
