THE SPECIALISTS FROM NMU TOOK PART IN “ROUND TABLE” IN PREVENTION FROM BURNING TRAUMATISM AT CHILDREN

The meeting of “round table” on topic “The ways to reduce the children’s traumatism from burn injury. International and national experience – learn together” took place on 25, January, 2018 in the Committee of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

The people’s deputies, representatives from Cabinet of Ministers, Administration of President of Ukraine, ministries of health care, social policy, education and science, State Service of Ukraine in Emergencies, all-Ukrainian Council of Churches and religious organizations, regional administrations (departments ) of health care, education and science, social public protection and territorial divisions of SSE of Ukraine, as well as representative of foreign and national public and charitable organizations, specialists, scientists, experts took part in the event.

The following specialists from O.O. Bogomolets NMU also took part in meeting of “round table”: pro-rector in scientific pedagogical, treatment activity and postgraduate education, professor Oleksandr Naumenko and professor at department of pediatric surgery Vasyl Prytula.

During event they discussed the experience in implementation of educational Ukrainian American pilot project “Against burns” in Lviv region that anticipates the performance of complex of informational educative events for prevention from burning injury at children, as well as discussed the available national experience in struggle against children’s burns.

Due to results from discussion of the issue the participants in “round table” mentioned the importance of preventive component in prevention from burning traumatism at children and the expediency in spread of experience of joint Ukrainian American educational project “Against burns” to all regions of Ukraine through development and implementation of complex of events for its realization on sites due to example of c. Lviv and Lviv region.
