ANNOUNCEMENT: III ALL-UKRAINIAN CONTEST IN PRACTICAL SURGERY

The III all-Ukrainian contest in practical surgery will be held since 11 until 13, March, 2016 at O.O. Bohomolets National medical university on the base of department of operative surgery and topographic anatomy. Organizers of contest – surgical club “Armata manus”.

Within the contest the teams from all medical universities in the country will have the possibility to compete in manual skills and theoretical knowledge in different sections of surgery.

The contest consists of 11 subcontests. Six contests at organ-complexes, namely: intestinal anastomosis, vascular anastomosis, urological contest, lobectomy of lungs, tendon suture, dermatoplasty, as well as knot-tying, knowledge of surgical tools, “attention to the screen” and the contest in laparoscopy, which will be held in two stages. The master class in experimental surgery will be held within the contest.

The team at its own desire may refuse from participation in one of the subcontests. In this case it leaves the team category, however continues fighting for prize places in separate tasks.
