THE FIRST PLACE IN ALL-UKRAINIAN STUDENT’S OLYMPIAD IN EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT

According to the order from MHC of Ukraine No 1247, dd. 27.11.2015, the 2^nd stage in all-Ukrainian students’ Olympiad in occupation-oriented discipline “Emergency management” among students at higher schools of the III-IV accreditation levels was held on 20-22, April, 2016 on the base of National university of water economics and nature use in c. Rivne.

Approximately 90 representatives from different educational establishments and cities of Ukraine: Lviv state university of emergency management, National university of civil protection of Ukraine, National technical university of Ukraine (Kyiv polytechnic institute), National aviation university and many others took part in the Olympiad.

The collective of department of labor hygiene and occupational diseases at O.O. Bohomolets National medical university at the head of department, corresponding member in NAMS of Ukraine, professor O.P. Yavorovskyy traditionally takes part in annual Olympiads in “Emergency management” and wins the medal places.

This year the department trained for Olympiad and sent the student of the 4^th course in medical faculty No 4 Maryna Lutsenko, whose scientific supervisor was assistant professor Yu.O. Paustovskyy.

The representatives from MHC of Ukraine, MES of Ukraine, educational establishments from different regions of Ukraine took part in organization and performance of the Olympiad. They planned the informative excursion for participants to Khmelnytskyy nuclear power plant, exhibition and demonstration of work of modern rescue equipment.
The competitions were held in two stages: theoretical part – computer testing of students, solution of situational tasks and topical crosswords and practical part – check of skills in rendering the first pre-hospital medical aid.
The student Maryna Lutsenko surely passed through all tests and received the Diploma of the 1^st degree for the 1^st place in the 2^nd stage of all-Ukrainian students’ Olympiad in occupation-oriented discipline “Emergency management” among students at educational establishments of the III-IV accreditation levels.

Assistant professor Yu.O. Paustovskyy was awarded with certificate of merit for qualitative training of students.
