ANNOUNCEMENT: LECTURE AND MEETING OF CLUB AT SCIENTIFIC STUDENTS’ CENTER
The lecture by dean in medical faculty No 3, professor Oksana Vygovska will be held on 13, April, at 17:00 in lecture hall No 3 in sanitary hygienic building of O.O. Bohomolets National medical university (Peremogy Avenue, 34).
Topic of lecture: “Flue and ARVI in children under modern conditions. Manifestations of epidemics of flu AH1N1California pdm in season of 2009 and season of 2016 among children in Ukraine. Comparative characteristics”.
The statistical review of data and their comparison with the purpose to define the progress and activity of virus for 5 years is important in lecture.
The final meeting of the club at department for 2013-2016 will be held on 15, April, 2016 at 17:00 at department of operative surgery and topographic anatomy at O.O. Bohomolets NMU (Mechnikov str., 5).
Purpose: To get students acquainted with the report from work of SSC for 2013-2016, improvement in level of theoretical knowledge and practical skills of students in methods of surgical junction of different kinds of tissues on cadaver animal material and special training devices.
Format for performance:
1. Theoretical part (lecture hall of department):
– Speech by monitor in SSC Dmytro Dubenko “Results from work of the club for 2013-2016” (30 minutes).
– Speech by head at department, professor Viktor Cherniak about work of SSC (5 minutes).
– Instruction on performance of practical part of meeting (5 minutes).
2. Practical part (large classroom, 2nd floor):
– 7 topical tables with instructors:
– Table 1, 2: Formation of surgeon’s knots on special training devices (designed by students-members in club)
– Table 3: Suture of skin (chicken legs, swine legs).
– Table 4: Suture of heart (imitation of myocardium injury on swine hearts).
– Table 5: Suture of liver (putting P-like and special sutures at injuries and marginal excisions of liver).
– Table 6: Cosmetic stitch (putting intradermic suture due to Holsted on chicken legs).
– Table 7: Aorta suture (putting aorta-aortal anastomosis – broadcasting to a large screen online).
