DEPARTMENT OF PATHOLOGICAL ANATOMY No 1: THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS LASTS

The educational process lasts after establishment of two department of pathological anatomy at University. The students of three faculties – dental, medical No 1 and 2 – continue studying at department of pathological anatomy No 1. Here the students for the first time study the pathological processes that take place in human organism, receive the basic knowledge in subject.

“The future doctors shall have the thorough knowledge in anatomy and histology for successful cognition of micro- and macroscopic changes at different diseases, – says the acting head at department of pathological anatomy No 1 assistant professor Ye.V. Cherkasov. – Thus, before start of classes the students are checked with the level of knowledge in normal anatomy. We also practice the joint meeting of students’ scientific clubs of our departments”.

The friendly creative collective has formed for long years of work at department, the lectures are read and the practical classes are performed by experienced pedagogues, who use the modern technologies in educational process.

The student of the third course in medical faculty No 1 Sviatoslav Bzenko: “I am grateful to the pedagogue O.G. Rudnytskyy for how she helps me and my course mates to learn the difficult subject. Olga Georgiivna uses the clear and interesting methods of teaching, successfully unites the independent work of student with detailed analysis of scheduled topic at practical classes, and systematically trains us for licensed exam KROK. The testing is accompanied by conscious approach to their solution”.

The student of the third course in dental faculty Kiazymly Giultadzh: “We have two semesnters of study at department of pathological anatomy behind. Now we are passing through the section course, which anticipates the advanced mastery of practical part of subject. We spend much time in section hall during prosections, where we have the possibility visually on a concrete example to see the changes in organism that have caused to lethal consequence”.
