WORKING VISIT TO PAUL STRADYNYA RIGA UNIVERSITY

In March, 2016, the delegation of O.O. Bohomolets National medical university made the working visit to Paul Stradynya (RSU) Riga university, Latvia.

The work group, headed by the first pro-rector on scientific pedagogical activity, professor Yaroslav Tsekhmister, included the pro-rector on international relations and scientific pedagogical activity, professor Olesya Lynovytska and director in Institute of postgraduate education at O.O. Bohomolets NMU, professor Yuriy Kuchyn.

Within the visit the representatives of our University had the work meeting with the administration and teachers of Paul Stradynya Riga university. The rector Yanis Gardovskis acquainted Ukrainian guests with the achievements of Paul Stradynya University. During the meeting the participants discussed the ways of cooperation, participation in scientific and educational projects.

The representatives from O.O. Bohomolets NMU also signed the Memorandum about cooperation with the administration of Paul Stradynya Riga university.

While staying in Latvia the administration of our University visited the practical classes of students in dental faculty, as well as tried to drill the practical skills on special training devices and homunculi.

During two days of staying in Riga the representatives from O.O. Bohomolets NMU visited the Technological center of medical education, Museum of anatomy at Paul Stradynya Riga university (RSU), pharmaceutical company “Olain Farm”.

Within the visit the delegation of our University had the meetings with Extraordinary and Authorized Ambassador of Ukraine in Republic of Latvia Yevgen Perebiynis, as well as the Minister of health care of Latvia Guntis Belevych. During meetings the participants discussed the problems of health care system in Ukraine and Latvia, as well as the issues about necessity in establishment of university clinics.
