VISIT OF RECTOR IN ARIEL UNIVERSITY (ISRAEL)

The rector in Ariel university (Israel), professor Michael Zinigrad and councilor at Embassy of State Israel in Ukraine Mr. Gennadiy Polischuk made the official visit to O.O. Bohomolets National medical university on 20, January, 2016.

The purpose of the visit is to sign the Memorandum about mutual understanding between NMU and Ariel university, as well as to define the ways for cooperation.

During the meeting they discussed the following issues:

– possibility to implement the program for double diploma in specialty “Management in health care”;

– visits of lecturers from Ariel university to NMU;

– performance of joint researches by scientists from both universities;

– issue of joint scientific publications.

Mr. Gennadiy Oplischuk, representing the Embassy of State Israel in Ukraine, emphasized on the readiness of the Embassy to assist to bilateral cooperation of universities, as well as offered the support from Israel cultural center in study of Hebrew by students and teachers of O.O. Bohomolets NMU.

Fact sheet: Israel university is located in city Ariel in Samaria near Tel Aviv. The university was founded in 1982. Four years ago it received the status of university. In 2014 14 thousands students studied in it and about 100 regular professors worked.
