SEMINAR WITHIN GERMAN UKRAINIAN PROJECT “HEALTH OF CHILD”

The seminar within German Ukrainian project “Health of child” was held on 29, October, 2015 in morphological building of O.O. Bohomolets NMU.

The following persons made the welcome speeches to the participants in the seminar: Olesya Lynovytska, pro-rector in international relations at O.O. Bohomolets NMU; Galyna Mantay, representative from Federal ministry of health care of Germany; Oleksander Volosovets, director in Department of personnel, education and science at MHC of Ukraine, head at department of pediatrics No 2; Tomas Erler, head in project “Health of child”, chief doctor in clinic of children’s and teenagers’ medicine (c. Potsdam); Tetiana Znamenska, president in Association of neonatologists of Ukraine, head at department of neonatology at SE “IPAG”; Maydannyk Vitaliy, co-coordinator of project, head at department of pediatrics No 4.

The pro-rector on international relations Olesya Lynovytska in her welcome speech to participants in the seminar mentioned that the exchange of experience with foreign colleagues is one of top-priority tasks for university. “The peculiarity of this project is the fact that this is not only the study but the exchange of experience, clinical cases and practical achievements between professionals from our countries. This seminar lays foundation for our long term cooperation, into which we will involve doctors, teachers, students and interns both in Ukraine and Germany”, – emphasized the rector.

In her turn, Galyna Mantay, passing the greetings from Federal ministry of health care of Germany, mentioned that the cooperation of our countries in development of medicine today acquires the special importance. According to her words, the project “Health of child” is the good possibility to improve the qualification and professional level in the sphere of neonatology with further implementation of the newest methods into clinical practice.

During the seminar they considered and actively discussed the concept and peculiarities for organization of work at neonatology service in Germany, tasks and possibilities of center for support of children, as well as the inflammatory diseases of newborns.
