MEETING OF STUDENTS FROM PHARMACEUTICAL FACULTY WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF ‘SANOFI’ COMPANY IN UKRAINE

Working meeting of students from the NMU’s Pharmaceutical Faculty with representatives of international pharmaceutical company ‘Sanofi’ in Ukraine was held on September 17^th, 2015 in the Pharmaceutical Corps of the University.

The event was attended by Vice Rector for International Relations and Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Professor Olesya Lynovytska, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Tetiana Reva, medical director of Sanofi in Ukraine Alla Hontar and HR manager of the company, Olesya Muravytska.

The event was held under the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Bogomolets NMU and Sanofi in Ukraine in the summer of 2015 to support the professional development of future doctors and pharmacists of Ukraine.

In particular, they talked about organizing an internship at Sanofi in Ukraine and providing further University students and residents with the opportunities to internship under the guidance of employees. Olesya Muravytska during the meeting acquainted students with the history of Sanofi, described the strategy, main activities and corporate social responsibility of the company.

Alla Hontar during the Q&A session drew attention to the opportunities for professional development and career growth of employees of Sanofi and said that the selection of candidates for training at Sanofi would be performed on the ground of review of motivational letters.

According to Prorector Olesya Lynovytska, Sanofi’s offer on training and selection of students for internship is very important for students because it is an opportunity to improve their practical skills on the job training and became familiar with international practices for the further application of the knowledge acquired in the University. ‘Participation in the joint project NMU Sanofi for motivating students will provide them with excellent professional experience’, – said Prorector.

In turn, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Tetiana Reva, wished the students, who would take practice under the guidance of experienced professionals in Sanofi, worthily represented the Alma Mater.
