STUDENTS OF NMU – SCHOLARSHIP HOLDERS OF PROGRAM ZAVTRA.UA

The solemn awarding of scholarship holders of program Zavtra UA was held on 19, June, 2015. Among hundred of winners there were six students of O.O. Bohomolets NMU: Yevgeniy Kostiuchenko, Olga Galukha, Anastasiia Shelevytska, Ivanna Nebor, Vira Makarova, Oleksander Shumeyko, who received the scholarship in the amount of UAH 10 ths.

It should be mentioned that the competition was held in three stages, at which they assessed the motivation grounds for receipt of scholarship, scientific work and leader’s qualities. The gusts of this event were Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany in Ukraine Kristof Weil, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kingdom of Sweden in Ukraine Andreas von Bekerat and chairman of Fund – Viktor Pinchuk. The honorary guest was also the Prime-minister of Great Britain (1997-2007) Tony Blair.

During the meeting the scholarship holders asked about reforms in Ukraine, their perspectives and future of our country. British ex-Prime-minister appealed to the present people to believe in the better future and to work for the benefit of our country.

Viktor Pinchuk in his speech told about educational program of its fund – World Wide Studies, which offers the support to youth to receive the Master’s degree at the best universities of the world providing that they would compulsorily return to Ukraine after study.

At present the Scholarship program of Zavtra UA is the most extensive charitable program in Ukraine that creates the perspectives for development of intellectual and motivated youth.
