O.O. BOHOMOLETS NMU AND SANOFI IN UKRAINE SIGNED THE MEMORANDUM ABOUT MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING

The Memorandum about mutual understanding between O.O. Bohomolets NMU and Sanofi in Ukraine was signed on 23, July, 2015 in administrative building of University. The document was signed by Kateryna Amosova, rector in O.O. Bohomolets National medical university and Jean-Paul Shoer, general director of Sanofi in Ukraine and Belarus.

The Memorandum defines the main directions in cooperation until 2017 and aims to improve the quality in education of future doctors and pharmacists in Ukraine.

Sanofi in Ukraine and O.O. Bohomolets National medical university defined the following main directions in cooperation within the Memorandum:
•    Organization of special educational programs and support to the university in provision of students with possibility to pass through probation at medical and pharmaceutical educational establishments in leading clinics all over the world;
•    Provision of students and interns of university with the possibility to pass through industrial training under supervision of employees in Sanofi;
•    Reinforcement of cooperation in the sphere of clinical researches of drugs.

According to the words by rector Kateryna Amosova, the cooperation with Sanofi is extremely important for the future of our country and our students. As the students of university will receive the access to specialized educational programs, which allow graduating the skilled professionals in the sphere of health care. “The partnership within the Memorandum is the unique possibility for our students to obtain the practical expirience working together with the specialists of pharmaceutical sphere, as well as to learn the best international practices for further application of received knowledge in Ukraine. I am sure that the cooperation with Sanofi in Ukraine is the possibility for talented young graduates to be developed and to grow professionally”, – mentioned the rector.

In his turn, Jean-Paul Shoer, General director of Sanofi in Ukraine and Belarus emphasized that the mission of Sanofi is not only to enlarge the access to qualitative medicines but to render the information support to specialists of medical sphere. “We are sure that the key factor in construction of efficient health care system is the high professionalism of medical specialists. The company all over the world and in Ukraine initiates and supports numerous probation programs, which provide the students with possibilities to learn the world of health care and to grow professionally. By constructing the cooperation with O.O. Bohomolets National medical university Sanofi in Ukraine makes the contribution into development of the next generation of medical men, enabling the students to have the practice under supervision of experienced specialists”, – told Jean-Paul Shoer.
