THE PILOT TRAINING ON EMERGENCY MEDICAL AID WAS HELD AT UNIVERSITY

The free training on emergency medical aid was held on 17, June, 2015 at Dental building of O.O. Bohomolets NMU. The initiator for its performance was the Institute of postgraduate education of NMU. The training was performed by certified trainers from European council of reanimation, during which all participants received the possibility to drill the practical skills in emergency aid at medical homunculi.

According to the words by director in the Institute of postgraduate education Yuriy Kuchyn, today the university makes the decisive steps to improve the quality in training of doctors that corresponds to European standards on application of the most modern methods for simulation study. One of the important stages in training of interns is the course of emergency medical aid, for which 12 hours of study are allocated.

The real professionalism appears when the human destiny is shaped by fractions of a second. And one can learn the behavior in such critical situations only when one has already made it in calm mode under someone’s control. This is what the simulation study means”, – emphasized Yuriy Kuchyn.
