Vadym Petrovych Shypulin, MD, PhD, Professor, Honored Doctor of Ukraine

In 1992, he graduated with honors from the Kyiv Medical Institute with a degree in General Medicine and was entered into the Golden Book of Honor of the Kyiv Medical Institute. From 1992 to 1994, he completed a clinical residency in Internal Medicine at the Department of Faculty Therapy No. 1 of the Ukrainian State Medical University.
From 1994 to 1997, he worked as a physician at the therapeutic department of the Territorial Medical Association of the Sovietskyi District of Kyiv. In 1996, he defended his PhD (Candidate of Medical Sciences) dissertation.

Since 1997, he has worked as an Assistant Professor, and since 2000 as an Associate Professor at the Department of Faculty Therapy No. 1 of Bogomolets National Medical University. In 2002, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor.
In June 2005, he was appointed Director of the National Museum of Medicine of Ukraine. In 2009, he defended his Doctor of Medical Sciences dissertation entitled “Chronic Diffuse Liver Diseases as Multiorgan Pathology: Diagnosis, Treatment, and Prognosis.”

Since 2007, he has worked part-time at the Department of Therapy of the P. L. Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education (from September 2012 to August 2014 as a Professor). Since September 2014, he has been a Professor at the Department of Internal Medicine No. 2 of Bogomolets National Medical University (0.25 FTE). In 2015, he was awarded the academic title of Professor.
He has been an Honored Doctor of Ukraine since 2007.

He has received the Certificate of Merit of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, acknowledgements from the Prime Minister of Ukraine and the Head of the Kyiv City State Administration, as well as church awards.

He is the scientific supervisor of 5 PhD candidates in Medicine and 1 Doctor of Medical Sciences candidate.


An experienced clinician and science communicator, he has served as a consulting physician to the State Affairs Administration of Ukraine since 2005. He is the author of more than 100 scientific publications, including monographs and a textbook.

From 1998 to 2012, he served as Executive Secretary of the Ukrainian Society of Therapists. He is a member of the Academic Council of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and a member of the Presidium of the Association for the Study and Treatment of Digestive Diseases in Ukraine.

Graduated from Bogomolets National Medical University in 2002. Completed clinical residency at the Department of Faculty Therapy No. 1 in 2005. Defended his PhD dissertation in 2005 and his Doctor of Medical Sciences dissertation in 2018 entitled “Scientific and Practical Substantiation of Non-Invasive Diagnostic and Therapeutic Approaches in Diseases of the Esophagogastroduodenal Zone, Liver, Pancreas, and Intestine.”

He is the author and co-author of more than 120 scientific publications, co-author of 5 Ukrainian utility model patents and 1 invention patent, 3 monographs, and 13 educational manuals for students.

Serhii Viktorovych Klymenko, MD, PhD, Professor

Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor at the Department of Internal Medicine No. 1 of Bogomolets National Medical University (hourly appointment); Head of the Department of Medical Genetics at the Institute of Experimental Radiology of the National Research Center for Radiation Medicine of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.

He holds a Master’s degree in Radiobiology with honors from the University of London (UK, 2003) and was awarded the academic title of Senior Research Fellow in Genetics in 2009.

Viktoriia Nylivna Kramarova, MD, PhD, Professor

Graduated with honors from the Vinnytsia Medical Institute in 1983. Since 1984, she worked at the Department of Propedeutics of Internal Medicine of the Kyiv Medical Institute named after O. O. Bohomolets as a senior laboratory assistant, and since 1990 as an assistant lecturer.

In 1992, she defended her PhD dissertation entitled “Essential Arterial Hypertension in Patients with Metabolic Disorders: Clinical Course, Mechanisms of Vascular Disorders, Prognosis, and Secondary Prevention.” She defended her Doctor of Medical Sciences dissertation in 2013.

Since 1994, she has worked at the Department of Internal Medicine No. 4 as an assistant, since 2010 as an associate professor, and since 2016 as a professor. Physician of the highest qualification category.

Research and clinical interests: cardiology, hemostasis, dietetics.

Author of more than 70 scientific publications, 3 inventions, and numerous presentations at national and international symposia and conferences. Co-author of 3 educational manuals in pulmonology, emergency medicine, and pharmacotherapy. h-index: 2.

Volodymyr Stepanovych Tkachyshyn, MD, PhD, Professor

Graduated with honors from the Kyiv Medical Institute in 1988. His Doctor of Medical Sciences dissertation was entitled “General Pathogenetic Aspects of the Formation of Pathological Processes of Internal Organs and the Resulting Clinical Features of Essential Hypertension and Chronic Bronchitis in Liquidators of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant Accident.”

He has supervised three dissertation projects, two of which have already been successfully defended. His current research focuses on the impact of occupational factors on the health of railway transport workers.

He holds the highest medical qualification category in Occupational Pathology and Pulmonology.

He has published 360 scientific works, including 3 monographs, 1 textbook, 2 manuals, 6 patents, 4 methodological guidelines, and 7 informational bulletins.

He is a member of the Academic Council of Medical Faculty No. 4, the Specialized Academic Council for dissertation defenses in Internal Medicine, the University Central Methodological Commission for therapeutic and hygienic disciplines, and the Commission on Hygienic Regulation of Chemicals in the Air of the Working Area.

Graduated from Bogomolets National Medical University in 2004. Completed clinical residency at the Department of Internal Medicine No. 1 named after O. O. Bohomolets in 2009. In 2011, she defended her PhD dissertation entitled “The 13C-Bicarbonate Breath Test in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Patients with Overweight and Obesity.”

 Luiza Maisivna Parunian, MD, PhD, Associate Professor

Graduated from Luhansk Medical Institute in 1991. Completed an internship in Internal Medicine. From 1996 to 1998, she undertook clinical residency training at the Department of Therapy of the P. L. Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education.

Since 2002, she worked as a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Faculty Therapy No. 1 of Bogomolets National Medical University. In 2004, she defended her PhD dissertation entitled “The Effectiveness of Determining Fecal Elastase-1 in the Diagnosis of Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency.”

From 2004 to 2013, she worked as an assistant lecturer at the Department of Faculty Therapy No. 1 (since 2008 — Department of Internal Medicine No. 1). From 2013 to 2016, she served as an Associate Professor at the Department of Physical Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine. In December 2016, she was transferred to the position of Associate Professor at the Department of Internal Medicine No. 1.

Nataliia Mykolaivna Mikhniova, MD, PhD, Associate Professor

Graduated with honors from Bogomolets National Medical University in 1998. In the same year, she entered the Master’s program at the Department of Faculty Therapy No. 1 of Bogomolets National Medical University, which she completed with honors in 1999. She subsequently pursued postgraduate (PhD) training at the same department and, in 2004, defended her dissertation entitled “The Role and Place of the ^13C-Methacetin Breath Test in the Diagnosis of Chronic Diffuse Liver Diseases.”

After defending her dissertation, she continued working as an assistant lecturer at the Department of Internal Medicine No. 1. In 2011, she was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor and has since continued her work at the same department.

Research and clinical interests: diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, dietetics.

Tetiana Borysivna Nechypurenko, MD, PhD, Associate Professor

Graduated with honors from Donetsk National Medical University named after M. Gorky in 1989. After graduation, she completed Master’s training at the Department of Internal Medicine No. 2 of the same university.

Her PhD dissertation was entitled “Clinical and Immunological Characteristics and Methods of Correction of Arterial Hypertension in Patients with Hepatobiliary System Pathology.”

Kira Yuriiivna Linevska, MD, PhD, Associate Professor

Graduated with honors from the Donetsk State Medical Institute in 1987. In 2000, she defended her PhD dissertation entitled “Optimization of Clinical and Laboratory Diagnostics of Chronic Recurrent Pancreatitis.” She was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in 2007.

She is the author and co-author of 197 scientific and educational-methodological publications in national and international journals, including 7 textbooks and monographs. Among them are manuals officially approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, as well as widely used educational and practical guides in internal medicine, gastroenterology, and pulmonology. She holds 3 invention certificates.

Since 2014, she has served as the faculty member responsible for internship and clinical residency training. She is a member of the Academic Council of Medical Faculty No. 1 of Bogomolets National Medical University, the Cyclical Methodological Commission for Therapeutic Disciplines, and the working group for OSCE-1 and OSCE-2 preparation.

Larysa Maksymivna Kupchik, MD, PhD, Associate Professor

Graduated from the Kyiv Medical Institute named after O. O. Bohomolets in 1988. In 1989, she completed an internship in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and began working at the Department of Internal Medicine No. 1.

Her PhD dissertation was entitled “Diagnostic and Prognostic Value of Serum R-Proteins in Peptic Ulcer Disease.”

Her research focuses on the condition of the gastric mucosa in gastroenterological patients, Helicobacter pylori infection, predisposition to peptic ulcer disease, atrophic gastritis and gastric tumors, gastroesophageal reflux disease and Barrett’s esophagus, diagnosis of gluten enteropathy, and exocrine pancreatic insufficiency.

She is the author and co-author of numerous scientific publications, including methodological manuals for practical classes and independent student work.
She serves as the Department Secretary.

Viktoriia Viktorivna Tishchenko, MD, PhD, Associate Professor

In 1997, she graduated with honors from the Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy. In 1998, she obtained a Master’s degree at the Department of Faculty Therapy No. 1 of Bogomolets National Medical University. From 1998 to 2001, she pursued postgraduate (PhD) studies at the same department and defended her PhD dissertation entitled “Optimization of Anti-Helicobacter Therapy in Patients with Peptic Ulcer Disease.”

Main research and clinical areas: improvement of diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for duodenal peptic ulcer disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, and metabolic syndrome.

Author and co-author of 22 scientific publications, including papers indexed in Scopus, and 2 Ukrainian invention patents.

In 2020, she completed an academic internship for research and teaching staff at Collegium Civitas University (Warsaw, Poland). In 2021, she completed training at Lublin Medical University (Lublin, Poland).

Artem Valeriiovych Neverovskyi, PhD, Associate Professor

Graduated with honors from Bogomolets National Medical University in 2017. From 2017 to 2019, he completed an internship in Internal Medicine and a secondary specialization in Gastroenterology. In 2021, he defended his PhD dissertation entitled “Modification of Cardiovascular Risk through Correction of Bacterial Bile Acid Hydrolase in Patients with Dyslipidemia.” In 2025, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor.

Research and clinical interests: intestinal microbiota, inflammatory and functional gastrointestinal disorders, hepatology.

Dmytro Oleksiiovych Reshotko, MD, PhD, Associate Professor

Graduated with honors from Bogomolets National Medical University in 2001 with a degree in General Medicine. From 2001 to 2002, he completed a Master’s program; from 2002 to 2004, he undertook clinical residency training at the Department of Hospital Therapy No. 1 of Bogomolets National Medical University (Prof. K. M. Amosova).

From 2004 to 2009, he worked as an assistant lecturer at the same department and served as a consultant to the Rheumatology and later Myocardial Infarction Units of Oleksandrivska Clinical Hospital, Kyiv. In 2007, he defended his PhD dissertation in Cardiology. Author of 18 scientific publications and co-author of the monograph “Chronic Pulmonary Heart Disease: A Cardiologist’s Perspective.”

From 2010 to 2018, he served as Head of Myocardial Infarction Unit No. 1 at Oleksandrivska Clinical Hospital. He is an active member of the Ukrainian and European Societies of Cardiology and a member of scientific (advisory) boards of research divisions of leading pharmaceutical companies. He has served as Principal Investigator in more than 50 international clinical trials in cardiovascular medicine and autoimmune diseases and received the “Top Recruiter” nomination from ClinLife in 2015.

Since 2018, he has been Director of Consilium Medical Center, practicing as a cardiologist and rheumatologist. He is a co-founder of the public organizations “School of the Heart” and the “Ukrainian Society of Clinical Trials Specialists.” He is an active participant in preventive cardiology programs and a speaker at numerous cardiology summits and the annual Kyiv Clinical Trials Forum.

 

 

Olha Vitaliivna Dolynna, MD, PhD, Associate Professor

Graduated from Bogomolets National Medical University in 1999. From 1999 to 2000, she worked as a district physician. From 2000 to 2004, she pursued postgraduate studies at the Department of Internal Medicine No. 4. In 2004, she defended her PhD dissertation entitled “Dopamine Metabolism and Its Correction in Patients with Arterial Hypertension and Concomitant Obesity.”

Since 2003, she has worked as an assistant lecturer, and since September 2010 as an Associate Professor at the Department of Internal Medicine No. 4. Since 2025, she has served as Acting Head of the Department.

Teaching experience: 25 years; research experience: 25 years.
Author of 94 publications, including the educational manual “Fundamentals of Medical Knowledge and Tactical Medicine” (published in 2022, 2023, and 2024), and co-author of manuals in pulmonology and hematology. She has developed methodological guidelines for students in nephrology, emergency medicine, and pharmacotherapy.

 Tetiana Mykhailivna Motsak, PhD, Associate Professor

Graduated with honors in General Medicine from Bogomolets National Medical University in 2014 (Medical Faculty No. 2) and was entered into the NMU Book of Honor. From 2014 to 2016, she completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the Department of Internal Medicine No. 4; from 2016 to 2018, she completed clinical residency in Therapy at the same department.

In 2021, she was awarded the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree. Her dissertation was entitled “Features of Central and Peripheral Hemodynamics in Patients with Generalized Atherosclerosis during Treatment.” In the same year, she obtained a second higher education degree—a Master’s degree in Educational and Pedagogical Sciences—from the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University, with the qualification of Lecturer in Higher Education.

In 2022, she had her Doctor of Medical Sciences dissertation topic approved. From 2017 to 2023, she worked as an assistant lecturer, and since 2023 as an Associate Professor at the Department of Internal Medicine No. 4. She performs clinical diagnostic and therapeutic work.

Yuliia Olehivna Bielikova, PhD, Associate Professor

In 2014, she graduated from Medical Faculty No. 2 of Bogomolets National Medical University. From 2014 to 2016, she worked as a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Internal Medicine No. 4 and studied in the Master’s program, which she completed with honors. At the same time, she completed an internship in Internal Medicine.

From 2016 to 2020, she pursued postgraduate (PhD) training. In 2020, she defended her dissertation entitled “Disorders of Amino Acid Metabolism and Cardiac Rhythm in Patients with Post-Infarction Cardiosclerosis and Concomitant Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus: Possibilities of Pharmacological Correction.”

From 2016 to 2023, she worked as an assistant lecturer; since 2023, she has been an Associate Professor at the department.

From 2016 to 2018, she completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the Department of Therapy, Dermatovenereology and Infectious Diseases of the Institute of Postgraduate Education (NMU). Since 2018, she has been an assistant lecturer at the Department of Internal Medicine No. 1.

In 2019–2022, she defended a PhD dissertation entitled “Optimization of Anticoagulant Therapy in Patients with Liver Cirrhosis Combined with Atrial Fibrillation.” She is the author/co-author of 15 scientific articles, including publications in Ukraine and abroad; 4 were written in English and indexed in Scopus/WoS. She also serves as a reviewer for international peer-reviewed journals. In June 2024, she received the academic title of Associate Professor.

She is responsible for organizing postgraduate education courses at the department, including specialization in Gastroenterology and Endoscopy.

Clinical practice:

  • 2019–2022 — Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 15 and the NMU University Clinic: outpatient and inpatient care as an internal medicine physician
  • 2022–2023 — obtained specialist certificates in Gastroenterology, Ultrasound Diagnostics, and Dietetics

Hanna Anatoliivna Dorohavtseva, MD, PhD

Graduated from Vinnytsia State Medical University in 1999. In 2010, she defended her PhD dissertation. Author of 15 scientific publications and a regular participant in national and international scientific conferences and symposia in gastroenterology and hepatology.

Research interests: gastroenterology, hepatology.
Clinical position: gastroenterologist of the highest qualification category, Head of the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Center at Feofaniya Clinical Hospital (State Affairs Administration of Ukraine).

 

 

 

 

 Serhii Petrovych Polishchuk, PhD

Head of the Endoscopy Department at OLYMED GastroCenter. In 2002, he graduated from I. Ya. Horbachevskyi Ternopil State Medical University. He is a trainer and lecturer at the NGO “ENDOAcademy,” which provides ongoing training and skills development for endoscopists in Ukraine.

In 2025, he defended his PhD dissertation. His main professional focus is primary specialization training in Endoscopy (number of postgraduate trainees prepared: 41 physicians).

Research interests: modern gastrointestinal endoscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases; gastroenterology.
Author and co-author of 11 scientific papers, including publications indexed in Scopus.

Member of the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE) and the Japan Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society (JGES).

Olha Kostiantynivna Didyk, PhD

In 2018, she graduated from Bogomolets National Medical University with a degree in General Medicine.
In 2020, she was awarded the qualification of Specialist Physician in Internal Medicine, and in 2021 — Specialist Physician in Gastroenterology.
In 2024, she defended her PhD dissertation entitled “Intestinal Permeability in Patients with Metabolic-Associated Fatty Liver Disease Combined with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Approaches to Therapeutic Correction.”

Andrii Volodymyrovych Seredenko

Graduated from Luhansk Medical Institute in 1989.
Specializations: anesthesiology and intensive care, cardiology, functional diagnostics.

He worked as a physician in departments of anesthesiology and intensive care, in the intensive care unit of a regional cardiology dispensary, and as Head of a Therapeutic Department. He has extensive experience working in public and private healthcare institutions, including managerial positions.

He also has experience working with non-governmental and international organizations, including the Ukrainian Medical Mission and the United Nations.

From 1999 to 2008, he worked part-time as a district physician at the Pechersk Primary Care Center, and until 2009 as a family physician at an outpatient clinic in the Kharkivskyi District.
From 2000 to 2003, he pursued postgraduate (PhD) training at Bogomolets National Medical University.

In 2006, he defended his PhD dissertation entitled “Features of the Clinical Course and Treatment of Ischemic Heart Disease in Patients with Concomitant Chronic Pancreatitis.”
