THE SIXTH INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL FORUM
The sixth International medical forum under slogan “Innovations in medicine – health of nation”, at which the scientific creative achievement of scientists from NMU are significantly represented, was held on 15-17, 2015 at exhibition center “KyivExpoPlaza”, where the most prestigious business and corporate events in Ukraine are performed.
The exposition of NMU is impressive, where the recent achievements by employees of 48 departments of University are exhibited in the form of stands, books, monographs, full-scale specimens. Within the Forum they perform the scientific practical conferences, in particular, the enlarged meeting by plenum of Association of orthopedists-traumatologists of Ukraine was held on 15, April, among its organizers – scientists from department of traumatology and orthopedics, headed by professor O.A. Buryanov. The meeting was devoted to the urgent topic – treatment and rehabilitation of the wounded during battle actions in the east of Ukraine. The leading specialists from Central military hospital and doctors of our university reported about developments of new methods for treatment of lesions in extremities, pelvis, spine, etc. The military surgeons paid attention to availability of serious character of wounds as a result from application of modern kinds of weapon.
The employees at department of obstetrics and gynecology, headed by professor O.P. Gnatko, devoted their scientific practical conference to the 85th anniversary since birthday of the former head at department professor V.S. Artamonov. The grateful pupils prepared 9 reports, which describe the different aspects of scientific developments for solution of problem on pregnancy and child delivery with the high degree of risk. The colleagues from Turkey and the USA, who presented their achievements in this issue, took part in this conference.
The conference “Transfer of the newest technologies in medical practice”, which coordinator is the head in patent and licensing division of NMU, Doctor of Medicine, professor P.F. Muzychenko, will be held under aegis of the Forum. 25 departments of our University will present the scientific achievements and their implementation into practical medicine at the conference, including the method for electric welding of soft tissues, innovative methods for treatment of fractures at adults and children, newest approaches to treatment of hypertension.
The Forum will finish its work on 17, April. This presentation event once more testifies that our higher school is the leading one not only in training of medical staff but also in implementation of innovations into practical medicine.
