Public and educational work of the Department of Social Medicine
and Public Health of Bogomolets National Medical University, Kyiv
for 2017 – 2019 years

The success of any institution is its students – the rising qualified professionals who shape the nation’s potential. In the professional training of future health care workers, Department of Social Medicine and Public Health of Bogomolets National Medical University of Kyiv pays sufficient attention not only to the academic component, but also to the education of decent citizens of the country, many-sided personalities with a wide breadth of knowledge and ability to think critically. This is possible because of the unity of the three components –education, development and upbringing. The upbringing is the determining factor that all staff members of the Department concern themselves with.

During 2017-2019, the staff of the Department of Social Medicine and Public Health together with students participated in a number of events at the state, sectoral and university levels.

 

Educational activities

 

Parliamentary hearings in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on youth policy. Speech on the topic of“ Anti-tobacco Bills for Youth Health”, 14.12.2018.

 

  1. Celebrating the 95th Anniversary of the Department of Social Medicine and Public Health of Bogomolets NMU and the 100th, Anniversary of Professor O. A. Grando’s birthday(15.10.2019);
