Rudnytska Olga

In 1993 she graduated from the Ukrainian National Bogomolets University. Since 1993 – teacher-trainee, since 1994 – assistant, since 2004 to the present – Associate Professor, PhD thesis: ‘Functional morphology microhemocircular channel of myocard in modeling the chronic ischemic heart disease.’ (1999). She is a pupil of Prof. K.Bohomolets, Department Curator for academic and pedagogic work at the Dental Faculty and English-speaking students.

 

Захарцева Любов Михайлівна

In 1983 she graduated from Bogomolets National Medical  University. Then she was sent to work at the Turkmen State Medical Institute. Since 1986 worked at the Kyiv Research and Developmental Radiology and Cancer Institute as a junior researcher at the Laboratory for Histological Diagnostics, then as a pathologist. Since 1992 she has been working as a pathologist of pathology department in Kyiv City Clinical Oncology Center, since 1999 as a head of department.

In 1993 she defended PhD thesis (“Morphological diagnosis of histiocytic sarcoma”), in 2011 she became Doctor of Medical Sciences (“Molecular Biological Principles of Individualization of Treatment of Young Patients with Breast Cancer Patients”).

Since 1995 Liubov Zakhartseva was one of the first to deal with immunohistochemical research in Ukraine. She held lots of conferences with international participation, trainings, workshops for pathologists of Ukraine, established the community of pathologists for immunohistochemical research. She passed internship at PhenoPath Lab Professor Allen Gawn (USA, Seattle, 1998, 2000).She is a member of the Europa Donna European Organization. Liubov Zakhartseva participated in several European pathologists congresses (2003, 2005, 2006, 2009, 2014,2017,2018), European conferences on breast cancer (2004, 2006, 2010), international courses of the American Institute of Pathology of the Armed Forces (AFIP, 2005).

In addition to practical and scientific work, she worked as an assistant of the Department of Pathological Anatomy (1993 – 1995) in Bogomolets National Medical University and in the department of Oncology and at the Institute of Genetic and Regenerative Medicine of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine during 2004 – 2015.

She is the author of 3 textbooks, 1 monograph, 8 methodical recommendations, 82 articles in leading journals, 4 patents for inventions.

Liubov is a doctor of the highest category in the specialty “Pathological anatomy”, head of the unit of immunohistochemical research in the Association of pathologists of Ukraine. She is a member of the editorial board of the journal Oncology. Member of the consulting and expert groups at the Ministry of Health of Ukraine “Standards of diagnosis and treatment of myeloproliferative diseases” (2014-2016), “Standards of diagnosis and treatment of testicular tumors” (2016), “Standards of diagnostics and treatment of lymphoproliferative diseases in children” (2012-2015). She is also a member of European Society of Pathology.

 
 

Khomiska Maria

 

She graduated from the Kyiv Bogomolets Medical Institute in 1964. She has been working at the Department since 1964. The topic of Ph.D. thesis is ‘Age Changes of great vessels walls’ (1970). Since 1985, Associate Professor, responsible for Academic Activities of the Department, Department Curator for academic and pedagogic work at the Medical Faculty №1, member of Approbation board of the National Medical University ‘Human Morphology’. Scientific interests: principles of modern diagnostics in oncology. Pathologist of the highest qualification category.

Verbytsky Viktor

In 1987 he graduated from the Kyiv Medical Institute, Postgraduate of the Department (1993-1996), since 1996 – Assistant Professor, and since 2004 to the present – Associate Professor, PhD thesis: ‘Functional morphology of myocard in case of acute coronary insufficiency under conditions of its pharmacological correction’ (1996). Pathologist of the highest qualification category. He was awarded with ‘Expert of Education’.

Danylishyna Maryna

In 2001 she graduated from the National Bohomolets Medical University. She has been working at the Department since 2001, Ph.D. thesis: ‘Morphofunctional characteristics of myocard at chronic hypercholesterinemia and conditions of its pharmacological correction’ (2007), since 2009 and to the present – A.P., Department Curator for Academic and Educational Activities at the Medical Faculty №3.

Balabay Alina

Graduated from Bogomolets National Medical University in 2004, senior laboratory assistant of the department (2004 – 2010), assistant of the department (2010 – 2019), from 2019 to the present – associate professor of the department. The theme of the candidate’s thesis is “Structural changes in the kidneys in experimental arterial hypertension and its pharmacological correction”; (2011). Sphere of scientific and practical interests: pathomorphological features, etiological factors and pathogenesis of kidney and heart diseases. Pathologist of the
highest qualification category. Curator of educational and pedagogical work at the medical faculty of the English speaking form of study.

Yanovytska Mariia

In 2009 Mariia graduated from Kyiv National Shevshenko University (economy faculty), specialty “Finance”. In 2015 she was graduated from National Bogomolets University, Medical Faculty. In 2016 Mariia finished residency in specialty “Pathological Anatomy”. From 2016 Mariia has been working as a pathologist in Kiev City Oncology Center. During her student years Mariia participated in ESMO Oncology Course for Students (2012р, Ioannina,Greece).
Mariia is member of European Society of Pathology from 2017. In 2017 she took part in ESP Congress (Amsterdam, Netherlands). Mariia is working on the PhD thesis, her topic of investigation is triple negative breast cancer. In 2020 Mariia was awarded Giordano Fellowship (a programme for the advanced training in pathology supported by the European Society of Pathology). She has 8 publications in professional pathology

grigorchuk Grygorchyk Sergiy

Sergyy graduated from National Medical Bogomolets University in 2005. In 2007 he finished residency in specialty “Pathological Anatomy”. From 2005 to 2009 he worked as senior laboratory assistant at pathology department. From 2009 he has been working as an assistant. Sergyy has 9 publications in professional pathology journals.

Chitaeva Galina

In 2000 she graduated with a bachelor’s degree from National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” – specialty “biology”. In 2006, she graduated from the National Medical Bogomolets University. in 2007 she finished residency in specialty “Pathological Anatomy”. The second specialty is organization and management of health care. From 2018 Galyna works as assistant of the Pathology #1 Department. She is a postgraduate student of the department and ir currently working on her PhD thesis about neuroendocrine tumors. She has 11 scientific publications.

Shkurupiy Bogdana

In 2015 she graduated from “Ukrainian Medical Dental Academy”. From 2015 to 2016 held an internship in the specialty ‘pathological anatomy’ at the National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. From 2016 to 2018 she worked as a pathologist at the pathology department of Cherkasy Regional Hospital. From 2018 – postgraduate student and assistant at the Department of Pathological Anatomy №1 of the Bogomolets National Medical University. Bogdana is working on her PhD thesis.

SENIOR LABORATORY ASSISTANTS

Gridina Tetyana

She graduated from the Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University in 1986. Since 1991 she has been working as a Senior Laboratory Assistant at the Department of Morbid Anatomy. Research interests: academic process with use of new educational technologies of learning within the credit-modular system of academic process.

Плодієнко Микола Миколайович

У 2013 закінчив Прилуцьке медичне училище, у 2020 НМУ ім. О.О. Богомольця за спеціальністю «Лікувальна справа», проходить інтернатуру за спеціальністю патологічна анатомія.

Наукові інтереси: патологія шлунково-кишкового тракту, гінекологічна патологія. Нагороджений подякою МОЗ України за сприяння у розвитку сфери охорони здоров’я.
