Sociological researches

In December 2008 Sociological Group of NMU was founded aiming to increase efficiency of education and methodological processes and other aspects of university’s work. Iryna V. Vasylieva, head of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology was appointed head of sociological group, Olha V. Nechushkina, senior teacher of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology was appointed deputy head responsible for scientific and expert work.

The Group includes not only teachers and representatives of management structures of the University, but students of all faculties.

The Group’s activity is focused on monitoring the quality of education and methodological work, in particular studying efficiency of implementation of new forms of education process organization (conducting sociological research on studying the efficiency of the CMSOEP’s introduction – 2007, 2009); survey of students that study clinical disciplines according to cycle-system – 2008-2009; survey of graduates of NMU – 2010; surveys of students of the first year of studying – 2010-2011, 2012-2013.

Since 2014 monitoring of student’s satisfaction with the quality of education and training of theoretic and clinic disciplines is carried out.

During the sociological researches significant attention is paid to the studying of different phenomenon in university.

Sociological Group of NMU is working with specialists of the Institute of Sociology of NAS of Ukraine and CST “Sociopolis”.
