Hygienic and Ecology Institute of O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University is a scientific and research unit of the University, which conducts scientific, scientific-research, experimental and testing studies to solve topical fundamental and applied medical and prophylactic problems.<\/p>\n

The main tasks of the Hygiene and Ecology Institute of O.O.\u00a0Bogomolets National Medical University are:<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 pooling intellectual, financial and facilities-equipment resources for fundamental, applied, search, expert and testing studies;<\/p>\n

–\u00a0 implementing the study results and guides into healthcare, industry and agriculture as well as into education;<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0staff, facilities-equipment, law and information assistance of scientific studies;<\/p>\n

The State Agency on Accreditation of Ukraine, according to the accreditation certificate <\/span>\u2116 2\u041d874, <\/span>proved expertise of the Hygiene and Ecology Institute of O.O.\u00a0Bogomolets National Medical University within the field of physical-chemical, toxicological and hygienic testing water, pesticides, agricultural goods, soils and water due to the requirements of State Standard of Ukraine <\/span>ISO\/IEC 17025:2006 (ISO\/IEC 17025:2005)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

One of the directions of the Institute activity is holding sanitary-hygienic expertise and conducting toxicological-hygienic studies of chemical and biological substances, physical and chemical factors of the environment, characteristics and character of the working conditions aimed at substantiation the necessary preventive measures and hygienic standardization of hazardous and harmful factors.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The scientific and expert activity of the Hygiene and Ecology Institute of O.O.\u00a0Bogomolets National Medical University is represented with a system of complex toxicological, hygienic, chemical-analytical and morphological studies, aimed at researching human interaction with the environment, assessing mechanisms of chemical substances toxicity; examining laws of harmful substances affecting the body; studies of combined effect of the environmental factors; defining sources of environmental pollution; evaluating risks of remote effects of various factors; holding experiments for state expertise (sanitary-hygienic and toxicological aspects).<\/p>\n

Carrying out toxicological, hygienic, medical and biological researches on safety of products for human health and work on hygienic standardization and regulation of dangerous factors are ensured by the activity of the main scientific divisions of the Institute.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
