That is why the staff of the Department of General Practice (Family Medicine) conducts &#8220;Health Day&#8221; on a monthly basis at the Communal nonprofit enterprise Center of primary health and sanitation \u21162 of the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv. Each Health Day is dedicated to the screening and prevention of one of the chronic diseases. So, during the Health Day \u201cDetermination of lipid profile as screening for cardiovascular diseases\u201d the staff of the Department of General Practice (Family Medicine) assess the risk of atherosclerosis using questionnaire, physical examination and determination of lipid metabolism indicators. Another example is that during \u00abEasy Walk\u00bb Health Day, patients have the opportunity to obtain information about a dangerous condition such as osteoporosis and check the bones by ultrasonic densitometry. \u00abHealthy Lungs\u00bb Health Day involves screening for respiratory diseases.
