For many years the staff of the Department of Internal Medicine \u21163 have been working to educate a young doctor on the basis of humanity, charity and other moral and ethical standards.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Under the guidance of the Assistant Lecturer of the department Tarchenko Inna Petrivna, students are delighted to explore the little-known pages of the history of Ukraine, Ukrainian medicine and its leaders. (\u201cNational liberation movement\u201d, \u201cThe life and sufferings of T.G. Shevchenko\u201d, \u201cIllness, creative work and life of Lesya Ukrainka\u201d, \u201cFormation of the Ukrainian volunteer movement\u201d, \u201cThe history of Kruty\u201d, \u201cEvents in Babi Yar\u201d, \u201cThe history of Mezhyhirya Monastery\u201d, \u201cPastoral care of Ukrainian servicemen\u201d etc.)<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
An important aspect of a doctor\u2019s work is a preventative work. Teachers of the department try to convey to students the importance of this aspect of activity. Every year the activities dedicated to the World COPD Day, World Diabetes Day, World Obesity Day and other diseases and pathologies are organized (including COVID-19).<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
For many years, the department has set up a student scientific and practical conference dedicated to the World COPD Day and the World No Tobacco Day, where students share information about important aspects of the disease, the harmfulness of all types of smoking as a major etiological factor of the COPD, report on their research on this topic and discuss controversial issues actively.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The department host patriotic directed activities, e.g. students has been reported on historical aspects of the\u00a0Armed Forces of Ukraine formation, starting from the times of Zaporozhian Sich, on the structure and composition of the\u00a0Armed Forces of Ukraine formation, and on problems of treatment and rehabilitation of veterans.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
With assistant A.P. Sisetsky. students have the opportunity to get acquainted with the most modern inventions of the world, the originality of the cultural heritage of Ukraine, as well as the prevention of post-traumatic stress disorders in the country during the war. Also relevant are the newly conducted events with the discussion of behavior algorithms when using chemical, nuclear weapons, phosphorous projectiles, as well as due to accidents with the leakage of chemical substances.<\/p>\n
From the very beginning of the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, the employees of the department took an active part in volunteer activities, procurement for territorial defense units and regular military formations of Ukraine of cars, night vision devices, bulletproof vests, walkie-talkies, medical equipment, etc., for which some employees of the department were awarded thanks of the deputies Minister of Defense of Ukraine. In general, during the last year, the staff of the department donated more than UAH 400,000 for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been organized cultural and educational event on the theme \u00a0\u201cYanovsky in memory of contemporaries\u201d. Julia Sych and Olena Honcharuk are the authors of presented materials (the 5th<\/sup>-year student of Medical Faculty \u21161). December 9, 2017.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Oleksandr Isayeva (the 5th<\/sup>-year student, resident of Kherson) presented a report about the history of development of the Kherson Region, ranging from the earliest times to the present day (within the cultural and educational program). Students listened to interesting facts, watched videos about the unique nature of this region: sunny coasts, wonderful lakes, sand bars. October 18, 2018.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cMeeting on Taras Hill in Kaniv\u201d<\/p>\n It\u2019s been held the cultural and educational event on the basis of Department of Internal Medicine \u2116 3, dedicated to our famous spiritual leader T.G. Shevchenko. The members have been informed about the burial of the great creator in Kaniv, where our the 4th<\/sup>-year student of Medical Faculty \u21164, Oksana Kononenko lives. May 3, 2018.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The important part of the department work concerns to patriotic education. Students with the participation of teachers regularly hold various activities dedicated to significant historical events, e.g. the gathering of students, led by the staff of our department, on 29th<\/sup> of January, 2018, which was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Battle of Kruty, that symbolizes the heroism and self-sacrifice of our youth in the struggle for the independence of Ukraine.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Asst. Prof. Tarchenko Inna Petrivna and 5th<\/sup>-year students are waiting for the demonstration of the film \u201cKruty 1918\u201d in the cinema \u201cCosmo\u201d. February, 2018.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Annual student actions “<\/strong>Stop smoking<\/strong>!” and educational work among patients regarding diagnosis, treatment and prevention of common diseases: COPD, bronchial asthma, diabetes, myocardial infarction, etc.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n There was an event dedicated to the unique national historical and cultural reserve of Chyhyryn, which is located in Chyhyryn district of Cherkasy region. There are many examples of selfless acts of charity and interesting facts from the lives of famous benefactors and Maecenases in the book.
