Internal medicine (gastroenterology, hematology, pulmonology), incl. endocrinology, phthisiology, industrial medical practice (professional training) internal diseases (4th year), Module 2. Internal medicine (cardiology, rheumatology, nephrology) (5th year), Module 3. Internal medicine, including phthisiology, endocrinology, emergency conditions in neurology, industrial medical practice (professional training) (6th year).<br \/>\nThe department also teaches &#8220;Training of reserve officers: Military field therapy&#8221;, as well as optional courses: &#8220;Fundamentals of gerontology and geriatrics&#8221; (5th year); &#8220;Fundamentals of rheumatology, clinical aspects of pulmonology&#8221; (5th course); &#8220;Emergency and urgent care in the clinic of internal medicine&#8221; (6th course); &#8220;Clinical aspects of hematology, transfusion and immunoprophylaxis&#8221; (6th course); &#8220;Geriatrics and gerontology&#8221; (6th year).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Curriculums of all educational programs are updated once a year in accordance with the credit-modular system of training.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Department played a major role in creating and updating of teaching materials of all the specialties mentioned above, including: workbooks for the self-study; methodical recommendations for practical lessons; test questions for exams and practical lessons; takes part in translation and implementation of textbooks, guidelines, test questions etc. in English.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>All members of the department regularly improve their teaching skills by attending in-service training courses.
