In January 2026<\/strong>, Associate Professor Olga Afanasenko<\/strong> took part in an international internship within the framework of Erasmus+ (Teaching Mobility) at the Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Chemistry of the School of Pharmacy of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Thessaloniki, Greece). As part of the program, Associate Professor Afanasenko O. V. gave a series of lectures dedicated to the research and educational activities of the Department of Medicinal Chemistry and Medicinal Toxicology, the expansion of international academic cooperation, as well as the formation of prerequisites for participation in joint scientific and grant projects in the future. The scientific work of the Department on the use of spectroscopic and chromatographic methods in the quality control of medicines and dietary supplements was presented, as well as the experience of the Department in the use of QSAR analysis to predict the biological activity of medicines.<\/p>\n

2025<\/b><\/p>\n

In June 2025<\/strong> associate professor Afanasenko Olga <\/strong>Viktorivna successfully passed international internship in the 34th International Erasmus+ staff training week in \u00abErasmus+ Dimensi\u00f3n Internacional\u00bb which took place at the university of Gredana, Spain. Program of the week included lections, discussions, practical tasks and projects made in teams. Special attention was paid to such topics as: effective management of international mobility programs, student exchanges within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, best practices in organizing academic exchange processes and also support and adaptation of international researchers. During the visit associate professor Afanasenko has also visited the pharmaceutical faculty of the Grenada university. In particular, she got acquainted with the work of the department of pharmaceutical and organic chemistry, as well as the department of physical chemistry. During the meetings, the features of the training of Masters of pharmacy, the organization of the educational process and the conduct of scientific research were discussed.<\/p>\n

On May 20-25, 2024<\/strong>, Associate\u00a0 Professor Violetta Narokha<\/strong> completed a practical training at\u00a0 the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Pharmaceutical Care and attended the University quality culture day conference at the Medical University of Warsaw <\/strong>in Warsaw, Republic of Poland as part\u00a0 of the Erasmus+ <\/strong>mobility program. The purpose of the event was to get acquainted with the practice in the field of pharmacotherapy and pharmaceutical care of the European Union member state, exchange of experience in teaching professional disciplines, expansion of professional ties and review of opportunities for future cooperation within the framework of research and grant programs.<\/p>\n

On September 22-26, 2019, the 79th FIP World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences of the International Pharmaceutical Federation was held in Abu Dhabi (UAE<\/strong>), the main topic of which was “New horizons for pharmacy \u2013 navigating the wind of change”. The Congress was attended by 2522 delegates (pharmacists, scientists, regulators and other stakeholders) from 114 countries.<\/p>\n

The congress was attended by the assistant of the Department of Pharmaceutical, Biological and Toxicological Chemistry of the Bogomolets National Medical University Kateryna Matskevych<\/em><\/strong>, who presented a poster report on the topic “Influence of new original compounds with antihypertensive and cardioprotective properties on the fatty acid profile of lipids in rat myocardium and aorta”, prepared in co-authorship with the supervisor Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Nizhenkovska I.V.<\/strong> and Associate Professor of the Department, Ph.D. Narokha V.P<\/strong><\/em>.<\/strong>, which aroused great interest of the participants of the congress. In addition, Kateryna took part in the work of the FIP Young Pharmacists Group, as well as in meetings as part of the Ukrainian delegation to the FIP, represented by the NGO “All-Ukrainian Chamber of Pharmaceuticals”, where the issue of holding FIP in Ukraine in 2022 was discussed.<\/p>\n

On August 23-27, 2019, the 10th International Conference “Education, Research & Development<\/em><\/strong>” <\/em>was held in Burgas (Bulgaria) under the chairmanship of the famous scientist, Professor Ivan Genov (Bulgaria) with the support of the Foundation for Science and Education of Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the Union of Scientists of Bulgaria.<\/p>\n

Ukraine was represented by Professor of the Department of Pharmaceutical, Biological and Toxicological Chemistry of the National Medical University. O.O. Bogomolets, Doctor of Pharmaceutical \u00a0Sciences Olena Vasylivna Welchynska<\/em><\/strong> with a poster report “Study of medical poisons in forensic chemistry<\/em>“. As a result of the conference, the participants received international certificates and published articles in a scientific journal.<\/p>\n

On July 1-5, 2019, the 21st International Conference of International Scientific Events<\/strong> was held in Burgas (Bulgaria), where the \u00a0<\/em>staff of the department took part\u00a0 in the Materials, Methods & Technologies\u00a0 section: MD, Professor Nizhenkovska I.V<\/strong>., <\/em>Associate Professor, Ph.D. Kuznetsova O.V. <\/strong><\/em>and assistant Matskevych K.V. <\/strong><\/em>The conference was organized by scientific organizations from Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Greece and Belarus, including the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria. Scientific reports from 23 countries of the world are presented. Topical issues of nanotechnology, pharmacy, chemistry and ecology were considered. The poster section was attended by the assistant of the department Kateryna Matskevych, who presented a report on the topic “Investigation of the effect of a new original antihypertensive compound on the phosphodiesterase activity in aorta, myocardium and blood serum of rats with arterial hypertension<\/em>\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Prof. Sedko K.V., Kuksa I.), which aroused great interest of the participants of the congress.
