\u2013 FOR 5<sup>th <\/sup>YEAR STUDENTS OF MEDICAL PSYCHOLOGICAL FACULTY.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0ELECTIVE COURSES <strong>&#8220;GENERAL MILITARY TRAINING&#8221; <\/strong>and<strong> &#8220;MILITARY TOXICOLOGY AND RADIOLOGY&#8221;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Scientific-research activity of the Department<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; working out of modern medical and non-medical means and measures for protection from CBRN agents and substantiation of rules and regulations for their use in emergencies\u2019 conditions;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; researches of medical and\u00a0 ecological, ethical issues of \u00a0emergencies;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; social, technical, technological and natural risks assessment in emergencies;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; working out of methods and algorithms of risk analysis in emergencies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Students, in the process of training at the Department of Emergency Medicine and Tactical Medicine, master the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; bases of chemical and radiation control in emergencies and during military operations;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; principles of evacuation measures providing in emergencies;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; first aid measures providing to wounded by sanitary instructors in Ukraine and according to NATO standards;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; basics of population and troops medical provision organization as a component of population medical provision State system, taking into account the main provisions of the Civil Protection Code, the Law about Emergency Medical Aid, the Military Doctrine of Ukraine and Military Medical Doctrine of Ukraine;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; procedure of medical evacuation measures organization for civil population and injured military men depending upon the level and nature of sanitary losses.<\/p>\n<p>During training at the Department students are provided with possibility to master <strong>elective courses &#8220;General Military Training&#8221; and &#8220;Military Toxicology and Radiology&#8221; <\/strong>as the basis for preparation of reserve officers for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Students\u2019 scientific club<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>The main directions of<\/em><em> department <\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em><em>students\u2019 scientific club<\/em><em>\u2019s s<\/em><em>ientific-research wor<\/em><em>k are:<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em>&#8211; working out of modern medical and non-medical means and measures for protection from CBRN agents and substantiation of rules and regulations for their use in emergencies\u2019 conditions;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; researches in the area of tactical medicine, ecology and ethical issues in emergencies;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; social, technical, technological and natural risks assessment in emergencies;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; working out of methods and algorithms of risk analysis in emergencies;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; optimization of emergency response algorithms.<\/p>\n<p>Taking part in Department Students\u2019 Scientific Club&#8217;s activities students acquires additional competencies necessary for:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; correct solutions in critical situations during emergencies;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; emergencies\u2019 prevention measures implementation;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; deploying of specialized forces and facilities for rescue works conducting, localization and liquidation of emergencies\u2019 consequences;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;
