AS A METHODOLOGICAL BASIS FOR EDUCATION OF STUDENTS AND CADETS OF THE INSTITUTE OF POSTGRADUATE EDUCATION"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since 2015 for students of 5 and 6 years is offered at the Department of Bioorganic and Biological Chemistry an elective course &#8220;Clinical Biochemistry and Laboratory Diagnostics&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-33735\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/ndi_27.jpg\" alt=\"ndi_27\" width=\"426\" height=\"286\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-33736\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/ndi_28.jpg\" alt=\"ndi_28\" width=\"324\" height=\"431\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>PURPOSE AND TASKS OF THE COURSE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Goal:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>mastering the principles and skills of rational use of laboratory algorithms in various forms of pathology, the formation of students&#8217; stable skills in applying methods of laboratory diagnostics in the treatment and diagnostic process, the ability to interpret laboratory results based on a holistic view of physiological processes in the body.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Task:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Getting acquainted of students with possibilities of modern laboratory methods of researches taking into account sensitivity, specificity, admissible variation of methods;<\/li>\n<li>study of indications and contraindications to laboratory tests;<\/li>\n<li>teaching of skills of drawing up a plan of laboratory examination;<\/li>\n<li>study of clinical interpretation of laboratory examination results;<\/li>\n<li>analysis of possible causes of false positive results, distortions, associated with the consequences of pharmacotherapy and improper preparation of the patient for the study (providing pre-analytical stage);<\/li>\n<li>acquaintance with the problem of standardization of laboratory researches.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>As a result of studying the discipline the student must<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong><em>Have a clue of<\/em><\/strong> \u200b\u200bthe real contribution of laboratory information in the results of patients\u2019 treatment about the diagnostic sensitivity and specificity of laboratory information in the examination and treatment of patients; monitoring, screening, dispensary examination, diagnostic complex.<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Know<\/em><\/strong>:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>modern diagnostic capabilities of laboratory tests<\/li>\n<li>features of the preanalytical stage of laboratory researches<\/li>\n<li>principles of laboratory research methods<\/li>\n<li>principles of patients\u2019 preparation for laboratory examination,<\/li>\n<li>causes of errors in laboratory diagnostics<\/li>\n<li>rules for obtaining samples of blood, urine, synovial fluid, protein-free serum filtrate<\/li>\n<li>rules of storage and transportation of samples for research in the laboratory<\/li>\n<li>theoretical principles of interpretation of the obtained results<\/li>\n<li>composition of complexes of laboratory indicators in diseases of the main systems of the body.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong><em>Be able<\/em><\/strong> to interpret the results of laboratory tests to different nosological forms, to build diagnostic algorithms for laboratory tests,<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Master the skills<\/em><\/strong>:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>development of diagnostic algorithms for laboratory research in diseases of major organs and systems<\/li>\n<li>obtaining and preparing biological material for research<\/li>\n<li>determination of the chemical composition of urine blood by diagnostic tests &#8220;dry chemistry&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>interpretation of indicators of hematological, general clinical, biochemical, immunological researches<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Since 2015 for students of 5 and 6 years is offered at the Department of Bioorganic and Biological Chemistry an elective course &#8220;Clinical Biochemistry and Laboratory Diagnostics&#8221;
