    Kyiv Perinatal Center is the first Perinatal Center in Ukraine, which has received high international recognition in the field of quality of medical services. There is a room for medical and genetic counseling, a room for psychoprophylactic training, a catamnestic room, a consultation room that provides advisory assistance on a daily basis.<\/span><\/p>\n

    • diagnostics and qualified management of pregnant women and women in labor from the high-risk group;<\/span><\/li>\n
    • providing the necessary intensive care to newborns with low and extremely low body weight;<\/span><\/li>\n
    • the management of vaginal childbirth in women with a scar on the uterus has been introduced;<\/span><\/li>\n
    • A powerful neonatal intensive care and resuscitation unit is equipped with modern equipment \u2013 incubators, unique devices for long-term artificial lung ventilation and monitoring of all vital functions of the body, which allows treating and nursing children born in serious condition, with critically low body weight, as well as children with congenital malformations of the cardiovascular system;<\/span><\/li>\n

        The history of the department is closely connected with the history of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of NMU and has more than 100 years. World-famous scientists worked here \u2013 Lurie Alexander Yudymovich, Baksheev Nikolai Sergeevich, Stepankivska Galina Konstantinovna and others.<\/p>\n

        In 1913, Professor G.G. Bruno was the first to perform extended extirpation of the uterus according to the Wertheim method. Also, on the basis, an operation to create an artificial vagina for congenital malformations (Rokityansky-K\u00fcstner syndrome, Morisot syndrome) was developed and performed.<\/p>\n

        At the base, the treatment of the most common gynecological diseases is carried out using the latest methods.<\/p>\n

        All types of surgical interventions on the female genital organs that exist in international practice. Preference is given to the “gold world standard” \u2013 endoscopic surgeries. The priority is laparoscopic organ-preserving surgeries.<\/p>\n

        • Benign tumors of the ovaries and uterus (including large ones).<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Diagnosis and treatment (surgical and conservative) of various forms of genital endometriosis<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Diagnosis and treatment of various forms of female infertility<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Genital prolapse (prolapse and prolapse of the genitals)<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Inflammatory and dystrophic diseases of the genital organs<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Background and precancerous diseases of the genital organs (including “erosion” of the cervix)<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Pregravid preparation of women for the desired pregnancy<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Diagnosis and treatment of menstrual disorders<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Diagnosis and treatment of pregnancy complications up to 22 weeks of pregnancy<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Ectopic (ectopic) pregnancy (organ-preserving surgeries).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            The Kyiv Perinatal Center on Lobanovsky Street (formerly Kyiv City Maternity Hospital No. 5) is a leading medical institution in Ukraine, which has a long tradition, its own school of obstetricians and gynecologists, the main specialization of which is to provide obstetric care to high-risk pregnant women with extragenital pathology.<\/p>\n

            Assistance is provided to pregnant women, women in labor, women in labor, newborns, gynecological and surgical patients.\u00a0 High surgical activity, including minimally invasive, laparoscopic, and hysteroscopic.<\/p>\n

            The Kyiv Perinatal Center on Lobanovsky Street (PC-L) is the first obstetric facility in the history of Ukraine to support a three-stage model of obstetric care.<\/p>\n

            On the basis of PC-L, the project “Home Birth under the Protection of the Maternity Hospital” and the innovative project “One Doctor for Pregnancy, Childbirth and the Postpartum Period” were introduced. There is a confirmed status of “Child-friendly hospital”.<\/p>\n
