Biliakov-Bielskyi Olexandr Borysovych<\/strong> \u2013 Associate Professor, was born on 11.11.1948.<\/p>\n

In 1967 he graduated with honours from Kiev Medical College 2, after which he did his military service as a battalion nurse. In 1969 he entered the faculty of medicine at Kyiv Medical Institute named after O.O. Bogomolets. He graduated with honours from Kiev Medical Institute in 1975. He was a subordinate attending physician and intern at Kiev Clinical Hospital No.15. From 1975 to 1977 he worked as a surgeon-oncologist at Kiev Roentgen Radiology Oncology Institute. Later he was transferred to the position of a resident at the surgical department of Kiev Clinical Hospital No.15, and then No.12. Since 1985 he was an assistant at the Department of Surgery. He defended his PHd thesis on \u201cAcute gastric bleeding of cancer origin\u201d in 1986, and has been Associate Proffesor at the Department since 2006.<\/p>\n

During his career, he actively participated in the scientific work of the department and in the medical work of the surgical departments. He has authored over 150 scientific papers, including two newsletters.<\/p>\n

O.B. Biliakov-Bielskyi is a highly qualified surgeon, who knows modern methods of diagnosis and treatment, has the highest qualification category. He is actively engaged in therapeutic work, inpatient and outpatient surgery. He teaches at the Department of Surgical Diseases at the National Medical University named after O.O. Bogomolets: he delivers lectures and conducts practical training and assists junior faculty colleagues. He was involved in the treatment of COVID-19 patients in 2020-2021.<\/p>\n
