Iryna<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>V.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>Nizhenkovska,\u00a0<\/b>MD, Professor, Honorary Scientist and Technician of Ukraine, head of the Department.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In 1978 graduated from the Bogomolets Kyiv Medical Institute, a doctor by specialty.<\/span><\/p>\n From 1978 to 1982 \u2013 postgraduate student of the Department of Pharmacology of the Kyiv Medical Institute, from 1982 to 1995 \u2013 teaching assistant of the Department, from 1996 to 2004 \u2013 Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology of the Bogomolets National Medical University.<\/span><\/p>\n In 1983, she defended her candidate\u2019s thesis on the specialty 14.00.25 \u2013 pharmacology.<\/span><\/p>\n In 2009 defended her thesis for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences with a specialty of 14.01.32 \u2013 medical biochemistry \u201cBiochemical and membrane mechanisms of myocardial damage in experimental heart failure and its correction with physiologically active compounds of metabolic action\u201d (scientific consultants \u2013 member-correspondent of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Prof. Yu.I. Gubskiy, member-correspondent of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Prof. I.S. Chekman).<\/span><\/p>\n From 1997 to 2003 \u2013 Deputy Dean of the Pharmaceutical Faculty.<\/span><\/p>\n 2004 \u2013 2015 \u2013 Dean of the Pharmaceutical Faculty.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n English proficiency level \u2013 B2. The world\u2019s first experimentally has substantiated the appropriateness of metabolic compounds, derivatives of succinic acid and uracil in the cardiomyopathy and anthracycline toxicity caused by anthracycline antibiotics. Synthesis and pharmacological evaluation of the biological activity of new compounds; biochemistry and pathobiochemistry of molecular mechanisms of biomembrane damage and therapeutic and prophylactic use of bioantioxidants; educational and methodological support, reforming higher pharmaceutical education, introducing modern new teaching technologies, taking into account the specifics of teaching Organic, Biological, Pharmaceutical, and Toxicological Chemistry to students of the Faculty of Pharmacy.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Publications (over 500):<\/span>\u00a0textbooks \u2013 13, tutorials \u2013 22, monographs \u2013 3, Standard of higher education of Ukraine in the specialty 226 \u201cPharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy\u201d, annual editions of the \u201cState Formulary of Medicinal Products\u201d, starting from 2018, educational programs \u2013 4, patents \u2013 43.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Public activity:<\/span>\u00a0head of the Formulation Committee of Ministry of Health of Ukraine; expert of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine in the field of \u201cPharmacy.
