<\/p>\nThe department of internal medicine, infectious diseases and dermatovenerology of postgraduate education was established on August 1, 2015 in accordance with order No. 459 of June 22, 2015 in the structure of the Institute of Postgraduate Education of the National Medical University named after O.O. Bogomolets<\/p>\n

Management and personnel<\/strong><\/p>\n The head of the department is Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Olena Yuriivna Gubska.<\/p>\n The department is led by a team of highly qualified specialists, including three professors who are physicians of medical sciences, six associate professors, and three assistants who are candidates of medical sciences. The department’s faculty members possess advanced qualifications in a variety of specialties, including “infectious diseases,” “gastroenterology,” “pulmonology,” “hematology,” “cardiology,” “rheumatology,” “nephrology,” and “occupational pathology.”<\/p>\n Main areas of activity<\/strong><\/p>\n The department provides educational, methodical, medical, diagnostic and scientific activities in the field of postgraduate training of intern doctors in the specialties “Internal diseases”, “Infectious diseases”, “Dietology” and “Occupational diseases”. The educational process at the department is carried out at the undergraduate (internship in the specialties “internal diseases”, “infectious diseases”) and postgraduate levels, including specialization, trainings, thematic improvement cycles and internships.<\/p>\n Clinical bases: <\/strong><\/p>\n Tasks of the department<\/strong><\/p>\n The department’s primary responsibility is to prepare medical professionals who possess both practical skills and extensive theoretical knowledge.
