All Chairmen of the Department took part in the students\u2019 scientific organizations activity.<\/p>\n<p>Majority of Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors of the Department (Galyna Solovyova, Natalia Kozak, Volodymyr Bogomaz, Igor Svintsitskyi and others) were members of students\u2019 scientific group.<\/p>\n<p>The main purpose of students\u2019 scientific group is to teach young scientists the methodology of clinical research and to help them to perform their own research.<\/p>\n<p>Main research directions of the students\u2019 scientific group:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>clinical and endoscopic features of functional gastrointestinal disorders and its impact on quality of life and psychological status of patients;<\/li>\n<li>diagnosis and treatment of comorbid conditions in patients with gastrointestinal and cardiovascular diseases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-100647\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/422-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"574\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Students\u2019 scientific group meeting<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Results of students\u2019 scientific research are annually reported at the national and international scientific congresses and are published in medical journals and proceedings of scientific &amp; practical conferences.
