Scientific interests: a significant scientific contribution was made to elucidate the mechanisms of the modulatory action of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) in the neurotransmission processes of key neurotransmitters, mono- and poly-ADP-ribosylation processes in the pathogenesis of diabetes mellitus (DM) and its complications. Currently, she conducts researches to clarify the molecular mechanisms of vitamin B3 action and its biologically active derivatives in the nervous system, cardiovascular system and in cell cultures using various modulators, including compositions of natural origin components in normal and pathological conditions, mainly complications diabetes of type 1 and type 2 (diabetic neuropathy, cardiomyopathy) with the aim of their correction. An important direction of scientific activity is elucidating the relationship between the processes of poly-ADP-ribosylation and other NAD-dependent processes, in particular at the level of functioning of NAD-dependent histone deacetylases, as well as under the conditions of the development of reactive astrogliosis and disorders of functionally important of the brain proteins and its departments in diabetes mellitus type 1 and 2 in order to prevent their development.<\/p>\n
