History :<\/strong><\/p>\n

Student scientific circle at the department of ophthalmology was organized in 1934 Professor M.O. Levitsky . The first managers were associate professor V.A. Kramarevskyi and Associate Professor I.A. Korenevich . In the pre-war years, 5-8 participated in it students . The main thing direction activity student scientific circle in this one period was development diagnostic and treatment methods, clinical analysis patients _<\/p>\n

In the post-war period period , in the 50s and 60s, the heads of the department were Professor V.N. Arkhangelskyi ( 1944-1953 ) and Professor P.S. Plitas (1954-1966), student scientific the circle was expanding in it constantly 8-12 students were engaged . Except improvement ophthalmological training , students widely conducted scientific studies devoted mainly to issues of ocular traumatism , histological changes the membrane of the eye in case of inflammation diseases , ultrasound diagnostics in ophthalmology . Professor T.V. Shlopak , who headed the department in 1966-1983 , improved the work of the student scientific circle departments . Circle expanded to 12-20 students annually , strengthened organizationally . Scientific work students were dedicated relevant questions diagnostics and treatment glaucoma , study activity metalloenzymes , conservative treatment cataracts , a question implementation microsurgical techniques in surgery treatment ophthalmological patients _ Members of the group regularly participated in institute events scientific conferences .<\/p>\n

Considering traditions and importance this one forms training for formation future scientists and ophthalmologist clinicians , many attention work student scientific circle department awarded by a corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine , professor G.D. Zhaboyedov, who headed the Department of Ophthalmology from 1984 to 2013 . , Professor O.P. Vitovska (2014-2019 ) .<\/p>\n

Managers circle , except associate professors V.A. Kramarevskyi and I.A. Korenevich , were associate professors L.L. Ustymenko, I.P. Chuistova , T.S. Kurilyna , L.O. Sedoi , G.O. Todor, assistant V.V. Kireev . Now student scientific circle headed by associate professor I. P. Ryzhova<\/p>\n

Annually in a circle up to 16 students are engaged . Meeting take place at the base ophthalmological department Oleksandrivska clinical hospital of Kyiv and ophthalmological center ” Sight 100%”. Gurtkivtsi learn diagnostic and treatment methods, take part in clinical ones debriefing sick people , take active participation in urgent shifts in clinics department and at the point urgent ocular help , are engaged scientific by work Scientific work Gurtkov residents dedicated diagnosis and treatment diseases retina and optic nerve, relevant questions glaucoma , modern inflammatory problems eye diseases , damage to the organ of vision , use laser methods treatment in ophthalmology . Also , Gurtkivtsi are visiting conferences and seminars that _ dedicated modern methods of diagnosis and treatment in ophthalmology .<\/p>\n

Annually at the department are held meeting sections of ophthalmology international scientific and practical conferences students and young people scientists ” Annual Young Medical Scientists ‘ Conference” ( AYMSConf ) and ” Special question diagnostics and treatment diseases of ENT organs , craniofacial site and the organ of vision “. Gurtkivtsi annually represent NMU at conferences in other countries cities of Ukraine ( Vinnytsia , Chernivtsi , Uzhhorod, Odesa, Lviv , Dnipro ). They also take active participation in the All-Ukrainian olympiad in ophthalmology .<\/p>\n

For many years history in student scientific circle department were engaged in more than 1000 students , a group always played a big role in the preparation qualified personnel in the field of ophthalmology . In many ophthalmological institutions of Ukraine and abroad successfully are working the former Gurtkovci _ Many of them were fulfilled candidate and doctoral theses . In different periods in ophthalmology circle engaged in : correspondent member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine , professor N.V. Pasechnikova , professors R.L. Skrypnyk, O.P. Vitovska , D.G. Zhaboyedov, P.M. Fedyrko, A.M. Sergiyenko , associate professors I.P. Chuistova , L.O. Sedoi , N.M. Umovist , N.S. Lavryk, L.M. Bakbardina , O.I. Kurilyna , T.V. Baran, I.D. Skrypnychenko, N.K. Greben, I.P. Ryzhova , V.M. Konakh, assistants V.O. Rashchenko , D.S. Churyumov, V.V. Kireev , P.M. Salata, O.G. Parkhomenko, D.O. Pavlenko and others .<\/p>\n
